Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter eight~ fight for freedom

Lucy woke with a jolt, grabbing her head as it began to pound. "Ugh, why is it always me?" Lucy questioned. It always seemed like she was the one being taken, no matter how much she trained; no matter how much stronger she become. She was tired of being the damsel in distress. "Were are you bastard!" She cursed, kicking the only door to the room she was in. She kicked and punched the door, becoming infuriated. She even tried to use her devil magic, but realized she was in a room preventing her from using magic; she was currently helpless. She sighed as she plopped down on the bed in the corner, curling into a ball; a single tear sliding down her cheek. "Jellal, help me." She whispered.

Jellal turned his head to the right, hearing a faint voice in the distance. "Jellal, help me." It said. "Lucy?" He said aloud. Natsu began to sniff the air, catching a faint wiff of Lucy. "This way!" He said, running to the far wall. "Natsu, that's a wall." Gray pointed out in a bored tone. "I'm aware of that gray, she's behind the wall....duh." Natsu said l, before slamming his fists into the wall and crumbling it to dust. "Damn dude." Gray said impressed.

"I've been training." Natsu said proudly, flexing his muscles. "Enough showing off, we have to save your best friend so come on." Sylvia said, grabbing him by his scaly scarf and dragging him into the hole. She lit her hand on fire to light their way. "Ooh cool." Juvia said, getting closer to Sylvia. "Juvia hates the dark." Juvia said. "Yeah, she makes me keep a nightlight on at night." Gray said with a chuckle. "Your promised not to say anything!" She said, her cheeks puffing in anger. "Oops, Sorry." He said sheepishly, as they continued down the dark tunnel they had found.

Lucy continued to lay on the bed in the room she was being held in. She jumped slightly when the door opened. Deus stood in the doorway, a smirk on his lips. "Your friends are on their way." He said, clasping his hands behind his back. "You don't seem worried." Lucy said with a sigh. "Of course not, why should I be?" He said with a chuckle. "Because, were members of fairy tail." Lucy said with a smirk. Deus looked at her quizzically like she had lost her mind.

"Am I suppose to be afraid?" He asked, his head tilting ever so slightly. "Very." Lucy said, a smile forming on her lips that left him feeling cold. "They'll never find you in here." He said confidently, before slamming the door shut. Lucy heard the click of the lock and heavy footsteps. She snuck to the door, placing her ear to it. "One, two, three, four." She counted in her head. She counted twenty steps before she heard a door open and close.

"I will get out of here, I don't need to be rescued." She declared. She stood before the door looking it over, she noticed the hinges keeping it together. "If I could find something to get these hinges off with...." Lucy said to herself, trailing off as she began to search the room. She plopped on the bed with a huff as she found nothing, hearing the jingle of her keys as she did so. "To bad you guys can't help." Lucy said, taking her keys fondly in her hands. Her eyes widened in shock as one of the keys began to shine brightly.

Jellal, natsu, Gray, Sylvia and juvia continued down the dark tunnel they found. Sylvia led the way with her hand held high for light. "How much farther natsu?"Jellal asked. "Yeah, for real?" Gray said annoyed, tired of walking. "We're really close, but I can't find the door." He said, looking around. "And you never will!" A deep voice rang out. "There." Jellal whispered, nodding his head down the hall. Deus stood at the end of the hall, his shoulders squared and arms crossed over his chest.

"What have you done with Lucy?" Jellal demanded, stepping forward. "Oh, and you are?" Deus asked, cocking his head to the side. "Her husband." Jellal said, a smirk forming on his lips. "Oh, well I'll just have to exterminate you. Can't have you ruining things." Deus said, jumping into action. Jellal and Deus went fist to fist, blocking, dodging and throwing blows. Deus knocked Jellal back towards the others. Jellal brushes the blood from his lip, his eyebrows drawn together. "Your turn." Jellal said, ducking his head slightly.

Natsu jumped over Jellals body, his body aflame. "I'm fired up now!" Natsu said, his expression that of rage. "Fire dragon iron fist!" Natsu said, as he slammed his fist into deus's face. Natsu continued to pummel Deus down the hallway away from the others. He kicked Deus in the stomach knocking him into the wall. Deus stood up panting and wiping blood from his lip. Suddenly, Deus went flying towards Natsu as the wall behind him burst open.

"Nice work Loki!" Lucy's voice rang out happily. Lucy and Loki stepped through the now broken wall with smiles on their faces. Lucy had been sitting on the bed, holding her keys in her hands; when one of the keys began to glow. Loki had appeared before her, having came from the spirit world using his own magic. "Anything for you Lucy." Loki said with a wink, before disappearing. "Lucy!" Jellal yelled from down the hall. Lucy's smile widened as she spotted Jellal and the others, then vanishing when her eyes landed on Deus.

"You think you can kidnap me and hurt my family?" Lucy questioned, stepping towards Deus slowly. Deus began to back away in fear as a black aura surrounded Lucy. "Please, don't hurt me." He begged, getting into his knees. "It's to late for that." Lucy smirked, before punching Deus multiple times; knocking him unconscious. "Let's take him to the police." Lucy said, giving Deus a swift kick to the side. He groaned as the force of the blow knocked him into the air slightly. Natsu threw Deus over his shoulder as they headed out of the guild and back to town.
