Devil Lucy- our time has come.

Chapter twenty-six~lucys return

"What do you mean you couldn't find anything?" Jellal demanded. Everyone had returned from their search in the woods, none of them having found any clues to Lucy and Luna's whereabouts. "How could you not find anything at all?" Jellal asked, worry creeping into his voice. He began to pace back and forth across the guild floor, his nerves not being able to handle this stress. "What am I going to do?" He said, stopping suddenly; his hands grasping his hair.

"Calm down." Erza said, her hand on his shoulder. "We'll find them." She said sternly. "Yeah man, calm down." Gray said. "We searched all night, we looked all over those woods. If Lucy doesn't want to be found she won't be, besides you know she wouldn't hurt Luna." Gray said. "Yeah, I know she wouldn't." Jellal said with a sigh. "I'm just....freaking out." He said, sitting down at the closest table.

Suddenly, the guild doors opened. Everyone's head turned towards the door, jellal jumping to his feet when he saw who it was. Luna came running towards him with a smile, Lucy following along behind her. "Luna, Lucy!" Jellal said happily, scooping Luna into his arms. He hugged her tightly as he continued towards Lucy. When he stopped before Lucy, her eyes were downcast. "I'm...so sorry." Lucy said with a sniffle.

Jellal raised his hand, gently caressing her face. "I could never be mad at you." He said with a smile. "I'm just glad you two are safe." He said, pulling Lucy into a one armed hug. Luna wrapped her arms around both of their necks. "I love you guys!" She squealed with happiness. "I love you too!" Lucy and jellal said in unison. The three stood there hugging one another and laughing, as the members of the guild stood around crying with joy.

"Welcome back Lucy!" Mira chirped in her birdlike voice. "I'm home." Lucy said, as the tears poured down her cheeks. "Good to have you back Lucy!" Juvia said, hugging her friend tightly. "We've been so worried about you." She whispered into Lucy's ear. "I'm sorry for making everyone worry, I just needed to find myself again." Lucy said, looking to Luna in appreciation and pride. "My daughter saved me." Lucy said, smiling. "Children can surprise you sometimes." Juvia said, nodding her head in understanding.

"Let's party!" Happy yelled, as he flew around everyone's heads. "Party!" The members of the guild yelled in unison. Lucy laughed as she looked around at her friends, glad to finally be back home. She felt Jellals arm wrap around her waste, turning to him as he pulled her in closer. "I missed you." He said, kissing the top of her head. He continued to kiss her forehead and nose, until he made it to her lips. They shared a short passionate kiss before joining the others in their celebration.

"I'm glad your moms back Luna." Silver said. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you be happy while she was gone." He said sadly. Luna intertwined her fingers with his, giving his hand a slight squeeze. "Thank you, for being here for me." Luna said, a genuine smile on her face. She stood on her tiptoe and gave Silver a kiss on the cheek before skipping off to join the others. Silver stood there shocked, a tint of pink creeping up his cheeks as he slowly brought his hand up to feel the spot her lips touched.

Silver turned slightly to see gray looking at him. Gray shot him a thumbs up with a ear to ear grin. Silver smiled proudly as he popped his collar and joined the others, feeling very good about himself. Jellal swiftly took Lucy's hand, dragging her to the dance floor as a slow song came on. Natsu and Rebecca were currently dancing together. Happy and Carla were dancing beside Wendy and Romeo, even Levy had gotten gajeel to dance.

The night passed with happiness, Lucy picked Luna into her arms; Luna breathed peacefully as she slept. Jellal placed his jacket over Lucy's shoulders, as she had wrapped hers over Luna. "You must think me a monster." Lucy said, as she placed Luna in her bed. She pulled the pink comforter up to Luna's chin, kissing her forehead before looking at Jellal. "Do you?" She asked, her head tilting to the side slightly.

"I don't think you a monster." Jellal said, his head shaking slightly. "You did what you had to, to protect Luna and silver and Rebecca." He said, taking her hand in his. "Besides, you came back. You didn't let the darkness consume you." He said, kissing the top of her head. They walked to their room, changing into their pjs and climbing under the comfy red comforter. Lucy snuggled into Jellals side, sighing with satisfaction at how peaceful she felt.
