My luck is so bad that if I bought a cemetery,
People would stop dying.

Sh$t, sh$t, sh$t. I thought, still panicking. This was Sky's car and if anything were to happen to it, he would kill me.

I unbuckled myself and thrust open the door with so much force, I was sure that any more pressure and the door would’ve been ripped off its hinges. Quickly jumping out, I hurried to the front of the car.

"Oh my God, oh my God," I chanted, my hands covering my mouth as I inspected the damage. I sighed in relief when I saw a single, negligible scratch on the hood.

"Dude, you okay?"

My nose flared in anger. Were these people crazy?

"Are you people bli-" The words died in my throat as I turned around, my eyes widened, my mouth hung open.

Standing in front of me were not three but four figures, three boys and a girl, but that isn’t what got me.

Before I start, there is another thing you should know about me; I have the worst luck in the world, because standing before me were Gabriel Ross, Astrid Wright and Declan Evans, three of the most unapproachable people in my school.

But worst of all, sitting on the ground, with his foot twisted in an ugly manner was the bad boy of my school, Roman Winters.

Gulping because of the intensity of the glare the three were throwing my way, I blurted out an apology, “I'm so sorry," the words tumbling out of my mouth faster than I could process.

Out of all of them, Declan was the only one not looking at me like he wanted to kill me, rather he looked at me with curiosity.

"Oh my God. I'm SO sorry," I repeated as i finally realised that I had just hit Roman Winters with my car.

Say your prayers. He's going to kill you slowly and painfully.

And of course my brain just had to speak at the worst time.

While I was having an internal breakdown, Gabriel cursed under his breath as he looked at Roman. "Can you walk?"

Roman nodded, though his intense dark eyes remained focused on me.

He tried to stand up with Gabriel's help, Declan shouted, "I know you." Which in turn startled Gabriel and Roman fell on the ground with a thud again.

Astrid swatted Declan on the head who smiled sheepishly in return before turning to me. "You're in our school, right?"

I dumbly nodded, my own brown eyes still on Roman though I quickly averted them when he let out a growl.

"Yeah," I squeaked before shaking my head to break out of my stance.

"Yes," I stated firmly but before I could go any further, yelling from somewhere near interrupted me.

"We need to leave," Gabriel stated as he turned his head to the direction, his unruly brown hair moving along like a wig, from where they had come from.
