All she wanted
was for someone to look at her,
and see the person she hid so well.

*3rd POV*
Roman laid in bed the next day bouncing the ball against the wall and then catching it.
Not that it helped his frustration, and that only seem to make him more angry.
Angry at Faith for being dumb enough to walk in the rain. Angry at her for knowing all the wrong button to push.
But worst of all angry at himself. For offering to drop her home. For telling her to leave. For getting her car to the garage. And for not knowing if she got home or not.
He picked his phone and stared at her number but ended up throwing the phone back on the bed.
Why should he care?
That girl had been nothing but a problem to him ever since she came into his life.
He'll be thankful that she's gone for good.
But Declan won't be happy. Neither would Astrid and maybe Gabriel would feel bad as well.
Roman groaned.
That girl and her friends had so easily weaselled their way into his life. People were suppose to be scared of him and yet those four weren't. Maybe the blond cheerleader was but that still didn't make him feel better.
Declan wouldn't stop talking about them and he had seen Astrid going go-go eyes on Jacob.
His mind wandered back to last night and he sighed. What was he thinking when he called her to get in his car?
He had been driving around in the rain and had seen the awfully familiar jeep in the middle of road. He had parked close to it and waited for a while. When he realised that the car wasn't starting after a couple of tries, he got Faith's number and called her.
Then he threw her out of the car.
Into the rain.
Damn subconscious.
"Fuck this," Roman relented as he picked up his phone and texted Declan.
Roman: Text me Jacob's number.
The phone chimed a second later.
Declan: Is everything okay? Yesterday you wanted Faith's number and now Jacob's. You aren't going to forget about us now, Are you?
Roman huffed at Declan's exaggeration.
Roman: Just send me the number.
Roman didn't hesitate to dial the number Declan had send.
Surely enough, an annoyingly lazy voice came out the phone, "New number. Who dis?"
