Today was the Annual UA Student Body Tournament. In this Tournament, the two main hero courses were required to partake in said Tournament. While whomever else within the Academy of UA who were willing to take part in a hand on hand fight with the higher classes were welcome. If a student from the lower classes make it to the final round or win the Tournament all together, they are guaranteed a place in the hero course! That is why the hero courses are required to take part, cause the lower classes are trying their hardest to boot the destined heroes from their thrown!
Now you'd think that this open invite was an easy way to get out of class right? Nope. If you signed up for the Academy Student Body Tournament, you were guaranteed to get beaten to hell and back. The only way the round would be decided is if the opponent is unable to fight anymore due to overbearing injuries or pass out. Yes, this Tournament is just like the Sports Festival, except, this Tournament is strictly fighting and just rendering your opponent motionless or knocking them out of bounds won't consider them at a loss. Brutal isn't it?
You've been wanting to go all out against your classmates for a while now, of course you were pumped for today! You even heard your classmates talking about specific people they'd love to brawl with. Which lead you to...
"I hope I don't fight Bakugou again," Uraraka was visually swimming in her own stress as sweat drenched the bangs that sat atop her forehead.
"Might I say the same," Midoriya laughed awkwardly as he finished putting on his leg and arm braces from his hero costume. Yeah, your actual hero costumes were prohibited but with the right paperwork you could bring along any gadgets to help you in combat. Midoriya's so happened to be his braces, don't want to see him breaking his limbs again.
You playfully punched the bushy haired boy on the shoulder. "Anybody in particular you want to fight Deku?"
"I want to fight everyone!" The boy exclaimed. "Actually, I want to fight new people. I'd rather skip out on those I've already fought," you hummed to Midoriya's claim which had you thinking deeply.
"So... You haven't fought many people right here in school," you finally pieced together. "You want to miss out on fighting Bakugou, Todoroki, and that creepy brainwashing dude from the Sport's Festival right?"
"Precisely," Midoriya awkwardly agreed.
"OUR OPPONENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED!!!" A random girl announced and like a crazy mob, one end of the room began flooding with students like a mosh pit in a concert. Almost immediately students began crying or mentally freaking out over who their opponents were. Iida suggested that we wait for the mob to clear out in order to safely get the names of your opponents.
The four of you were waiting around for a good twenty minutes before the mob had diminished to a long line of maybe at most thirty students. "I'm not waiting around any longer," you announced and ran right for the front of the line with a spring behind your step.
Iida shot up from his seat flailing his arms all about, "(Y/n) you need to wait your turn!!!"
"Shut up!" You came running back with your nose burried within your phone. "I got a picture of the board, that way we can all learn who we're up against," Uraraka and Midoriya's eyes flared with stars learning of your heroic problem solving. They ran up to you, squeezing you between like a sandwich before you threw them off. "Let me just tell you all! GEEZ, GIVE ME SPACE!!!" Another growl were leaked from your throat, your eyes lingered the picture just searching for one name of interest.
"Uraraka..." You hummed finally finding A name. "You're fighting Tsu."
"Oh... This should be interesting!!!" The girl clapped with glee.
