You can technically call this a Dabi x Reader x Todoroki...

The Reader's quirk is also confusing to explain. She can eject someone's soul, even her own soul, from the body. Confused? Go watch Doctor Strange as they refer to this phenomenon as the Astral Form/Dimension.

Also, lots of Inspiration from Blue Exorcist.

Late fall and the pre-winter blast of frigid cold air. Although it was just a few days from the official mark of winter, it sure had everyone assuming that winter was here to move in. The air was frigid, the exhale of breath had the gas turn visible into a smoky grey and waft low within the air like a fog.

While everyone is different when it comes to temperature tolerance; there was a small group of friends that showed the true definition of temperature tolerance. Here we have a boy with messy silver hair, he's quite literally named Silver. He's all bundled up in layers of fur coats and limbs that couldn't stop shivering like a freshly shaven dog. The next boy bad pale blonde hair, Richie was his name. He was the most casual of them all, being he could tolerate the colder temps enough to run around in jeans and a hoodie. The last boy had stark black hair, he went by the name of Kazu, and he was a quirky young man that's for sure. While everyone was seeking warmth, this fairly muscled teenager walked around without his coat. Only jeans and a white tank top while he complained about the heat. In fact, his face was becoming more and more red by the second. It's literally the beginning of winter and he's sweating through his shirt.

Silver playfully punched Kazu on the back, his hand coated in a sheen of sweat upon little contact. "Okay bro... Go home. I think you caught something."

Kazu nodded eagerly and part ways with his friends by running ahead. Wherever he went, his footprints left behind in the shallow snow sizzled and became pools of melted snow. The boy brushed the hair of black from his face, vision growing clouded to an unbearable degree. The sight of an alley became a blessing as he drove right in and collapsed in a fountain of blue flames that left behind nothing but ash. The flames of brilliant blue recollected soon enough, rebirthing of a man with hair as dark as a raven's feathers, skin burnt and scarred over in patches of purple, staples of silver kept his skin together like stitches, silver piercings on his nose, a forked tail, curled horns atop his head and eyes of electric blue as brilliant as his flames.

The man turned around from where he formed, running a scarred hand through his locks and careful to avoid his horns. His eyes couldn't part ways with the pile of flaky ash. "Another body... Gone. That's the third one this week and it's only Thursday..." The man allowed his fingers to entangle the remains of his last host. Still warm... Like Sand.

"Dabi... I suggest you take a break from finding the perfect vessel if only a little while," a man shrouded in shadows appeared within the alley. His onimous yellow eyes were all that remained of this man's body now. Afteral he himself had never successfully possessed another human in all his life long enough to earn a physical identity.

Dabi kicked his ashes, "I'm tired Kurogiri..." The demon admits. "It's bad enough I died in the first place. I don't know how, but I WILL get my second chance. Just... None of the bodies I posses can handle my flames," no sense in revisiting the subject. Every body Dabi had possessed to this very day had faded from existence in a bounty of flames. He's never had a vessel for longer than a few days...

"You ARE the son of Satan Dabi. Your flames aren't supposed to be hidden," Kurogiri announced.

"You think I don't know that?" Dabi snapped and rushed past his shadowy onlooker of a friend. He needed to target his next victim before he's dragged back into the pits of hell. That's the promise he's made with his father at least: to retain a body and the second Dabi goes longer than 24 hours without one then back to hell he goes.
