Monsoon Season. The country of Japan is one you DO NOT want to be in during the rainy season which sadly is about seven months in time. The weather could be peaceful one moment and deadly the next. The thing about monsoons is the unpredictable winds: Reverse, straight line, circulating or better yet anything with the capability to kill. This rainy season is especially dangerous. For days on end, the rain continued to pour and it only lightened up just enough for a minute or two. There's a countrywide order to stay within your homes under any and all circumstances given the current monsoon's status to team up with that of a squall. The winds reach that of a hundred miles per hour, the streets are flooded, it wasn't uncommon for cars to roll down the street without someone in the front seat. Well, Hero work never ends as one may say. The heroes were risking their necks for those who ignore the stay at home order and are in dire need of saving. Two students of UA high, Hanta Sero and (Y/n), are two students who volunteered to aid Pro Heroes in search and rescue during this trying time. Right when everyone thought the storm would break, instead reached an all time high. The pros encouraged the heroes in training to take cover as soon as possible.

Exhausted after battling the forces of nature, Sero and (Y/n) were trudging on up to their hotel room with aching limbs. The hairs atop their heads held no choice but to lay flat and stuck to their faces in a stringy mess. Water droplets began to bead at the tips of their hair and fell to collect upon their chest and carpeted floors. With each step, their shoes loudly sloshed with water pooling between their toes. Even their shirts became see through thanks to the rain and made their bodies shiver and ache. Sero could recognize the violent shiver of (Y/n)'s hands from where he stood. (Y/n) did mention earlier that she wasn't feeling so hot and further backs her claim with physical cues. Although Sero too was freezing, he figured any little bit could help his suffering lady as he extended an arm out to wrap around (Y/n)'s backside and drew her in close. She melted into his touch, a body desperately lapping up what warmth he could give. Sero admittedly could feel what little warmth her body had although the homeliness of a warm body was all so out of reach. Her temperature was faint and fleeting, alarming through and through. Sero wanted to scoop (Y/n) up and embrace her until she has a smile on her face knowing everything is alright.

Throughout the monsoon, roughly a week in time, Sero and (Y/n) got together to share a hotel room with the other. They figured that since they're friends and had the same internship, it wouldn't hurt to save the money and help one another. Why not go back to UA? Well, they'd prefer to be locked in with close friends but with the monsoon's conditions, such a task is impossible. Although they aren't complaining! Their brush with death on a daily basis brought the couple together, made them appreciate the little things plus they never knew how much they enjoyed sharing a bed together until they've tried it first hand.

"Hey (Y/n)," the male tenderly tightened up his embrace upon the frail girl. They'd finally arrived at their shared room. Reluctant, Sero parted the embrace, giving his girlfriend a needful gander from head to toe. From his examination, her eyes remained half lidded and most notably exhausted after a long and draining day. Her skin had a pale glow that suggested that her body was succumbing to cold and sickness. "I want you to get in the shower first. I'd hate to see you get sick," hopefully, a hot steamy shower will make her good as new. Sero hates watching his girlfriend suffer over something so little. One thing that everyone knows is that not even the strongest heroes are the most vulnerable to sickness.

"Can you start the shower too?" (Y/n)'s jaw nearly unhinged with her airy yawn. Her energy was depleting by the second.

"Anything for you," Sero's smile was as radiant as the sun. It brought warmth to (Y/n)'s heart just seeing it if only for a second. Sero flashed his keycard before the handle of the door. The green flash of an LED meant they're free to enter. Sero, feeling the absolute need to support his girl and be the best boyfriend he can be, zoomed into the bathroom like a busy bee. He made sure to switch on the vent and red heated light before turning the shower handle all the way to the left. Water erupted from the faucet for a soothing crash upon the tiled floor below. Steam began to fog up the bathroom. Moisture transpired in a beading fashion upon the hairs that lined Sero's forearms. He carefully closed the doors to the domed shower, marking everything as complete and perfect for his sick girl.
