"No (Y/n)!" Tokoyami patience were finally put to the max. Everyone in the lounge had their heads snapped in his direction, and that meant everyone. The boy with the jet black bird head had his fair share of wild stares over the years but this were something entirely different that caused his skin to crawl and stomach churn with guilt.

Your soulful eyes of joy were glossing over, that beautiful smile of yours no longer existent. It were official, Tokoyami had successfully broken down his happier other half. "Y'know it wouldn't kill you to do something for me for a change. Forget it, we're done you selfish hawk," you huffed stomping away without one glance backwards.

Tokoyami sighed, his head hanging low. "R-Ribbit, What was all that about?" Tsu stepped before her dear friend lying a hand upon his shoulder with care. It drew in the attention of a few more classmates which was expected.

"None of your concern," Tokoyami huffed turning the other cheek.

"But (Y/n)'s your boyfriend," Midoriya spoke up snatching him by the back of his black sweater careful to not choke his classmate. "Former boyfriend..." Midoriya corrected himself. "Shouldn't you care that he's upset? You both rarely argue like that, (Y/n) normally does whatever you want right?"

"All I did was tell him no," Tokoyami glared at Tsu and Midoriya. "If anything (Y/n)'s overreacting and you both, friend or not, need to keep your noses out of my business!"

"Chill out Tokoyami," Midoriya waved his hands.

"At least tell us what you both disagreed on ribbit," Tsu frowned reeling back from all this unhealthy backlash Tokoyami threw at his friends. "We'd hate to see you and (Y/n) split for good, especially with New Year's right around the corner."

"Y-Yeah especially with New Year right around the corner," Midoriya agreed with Tsu nodding with approval. "We're planning a party and if you two are arguing the whole time then-"

"I get the point Midoriya," Tokoyami snapped, it helped him blow off just enough steam.

"So, ribbit, will you tell us?" Tsu were on the edge of her seat.

"I frankly hate celebrations but (Y/n) wants me to sneak off campus with him for a New Year's kiss... Sorry, but I'm not getting myself in trouble."

"Understood!" Tsu and Midoriya nodded in unison. "We can help you plan something less risky! Can we, can we!?"

"If you both shut up then yes," the male had his ears blocked with the help of Dark Shadow.

New Year's Eve came around sooner than everyone thought. With joined efforts, the class had rounded up enough money to hold the party they planned easily a week beforehand with food and golden decorations that cluttered up the Class 1A Dormitory. Of course it was troublesome, Momo refused to use her quirk for party decorations but donated a good sum of cash for the cause. And, despite your assumed break to eventually lead to everlasting separation with Tokoyami, you were happy as can be and helped out with everything you possible could. However, everyone knew you were internally crying with despair and bound to succumb at any moment.

You began sulking around the lounge the closer it got to midnight, still pissed off that your original plans had to get flushed down the toilet all because the boy with the bird head had to be selfish and all... "Perk up dude!" Kaminari threw an arm around your shoulders, as did Kirishima in which it weighed you down greatly.
