Quirkless Wonder: Kaminari x Reader Part 1

Sort of similar to Give Me a Reason, but I can't stress the fact that I hate Endeavor any more than I already have.

Bzzt Bzzt Bzzt Bzzt

A phone vibrates violently within a desk. Everyone turned themselves towards one another with a desperate look pleading for whomever it was to answer the call. The distraction were so mighty, Mr. Aizawa allowed his words to be drowned out by the noise. His chilling ghostly stare shook the class, "whoever it is, admit you brought your phone to class and shut it off and I won't lay out a punishment," Aizawa must be lax today to allow a freebie on what so happened to be a broken rule. Don't bring your cell phones to class, and if you do, keep the device off.

Todoroki sighs, pulling out his phone from the innards of his wooden desk. "My apologies," the male bowed. "I thought it was off..." Todoroki's differentiating eyes of grey and turquoise lit up with body numbing shock after reading the caller ID.

"Either take the call outside or turn it off," Aizawa turned back to the whiteboard. "Must be an important call seeing your reaction," again, it was different seeing Aizawa be so lax compared to the usual. In reality, Aizawa was tired and assumed Todoroki had gotten a call home from his Pro Hero father Endeavor. A call from him meant nothing good in the slightest.

Todoroki gripped his phone, stepping around his desk to move into the hall. "Thank you Mr. Aizawa," and Todoroki was gone, the door to the class slammed shut with desperate eagerness to answer his phone.

"Wonder what got to Shoto," Kaminari rested back in his seat.

"He's been acting off lately that much I can tell," Midoriya answered Kaminari with as much information as he could collect. Clearly, the abundance of information was very poor.

Afterschool, everyone walked back to the dormitory together. I mean, what else can they do? They need permission to leave campus to begin with. Everyone were pestering Todoroki about that sudden phone call from earlier, but his mouth were sealed like glue. The half and half male told everyone to forget what happened, entering the dormitory. "Shoto!!!" A girl jumped up from the couch in the lounge speeding right for Icy-Hot himself.

"(Y-Y/n)!?" Todoroki gasped upon being knocked onto the ground by an open armed hug. The class circled around Todoroki and this mystery girl, wondering just who she is and why exactly she was in their dorms. Clearly you knew Todoroki that's for sure. "(Y/n) how exactly did you get here?" Todoroki finally pulled himself together to ask of you. You peeled away from the hug, got to your feet, giving him a hand up.

"Enji got tired of me whining about you so he asked Nezu to let me spend the weekend here with you in the dorms!" Excitement getting the better of you, you couldn't stand still. It were as if you were vibrating with energy, Todoroki could feel it in the way you spoke as well as the way you clutched onto his uniform sleeves playfully. Normally, you aren't this touchy feely, taking him by surprise.

"I'm jealous Todoroki! Man you have a smoking hot girlfriend," Kaminari complimented you. You squeaked, turning to the blonde boy with the black lightning bolt in his hair before blushing madly, hiding behind the half and half male. "A girl has never gotten that red in the face around me before," Kaminari awed feeling accomplished.

"Yeah because when you flirt with girls half of the time they give you the same look they give Mineta and walk away," Kirishima choked out a laugh.

"Not to forget your dunce face," Bakugou snickered while Sero mimicked Kaminari's short circuit expression all the while holding his thumbs up. The blonde grew offended, rolling up his sleeves.

Todoroki pats you on the arm, clearing his throat and gathered the attention of his class. "Sorry but (Y/n) isn't my girlfriend," Todoroki regrets to admit knowing he'll get a parade of classmates lining up to ask for your heart.

"Then who's the cutie?" Kaminari pouts.

"She's actually my twin sister..."

"YOU'RE TWINS!?" Everyone couldn't help but to shout.

"But you both look nothing alike!" Kaminari whined.

"There's such thing as fraternal twins Kaminari," Iida points out.

"We're twins," Todoroki repeats. "All of my siblings have red or white hair, (Y/n) is different because my dad assumes that I stole her quirk in the womb which might explain why I have two quirks and she has none at all. Then again it's only an assumption," well it was true, you didn't have white or red hair. That's why everyone had a hard time finding the similarities the two of you shared. However learning a little more about you got the best of nearly everyone's interests. Who would've known Todoroki had a quirkless twin sister?

"Why is she hiding behind you though?" Kaminari stepped up, poking you on the shoulder. You didn't flinch, more you clutched onto Todoroki's arms somewhat tighter.

"(Y/n) has had problems trusting others since I can remember," Todoroki sighs. "The only reason my dad had children was for the purpose of being raised in order to defeat All Might in his prime. (Y/n) is quirkless, that meant Endeavor wanted nothing to do with her even went as far as adoption but my mom talked him out of it. I sort of owe (Y/n) now that I've moved into the dorms and left her at home to deal with him alone," everyone awed as Todoroki maneuvered to embrace you. You both looked genuinely at peace, calm and collected. They've never seen two siblings love each other as much as they saw the both of you.

"Awe sorry for flirting with you (Y/n)," Kaminari apologized for his pertinacious actions with his head held low.

You hummed, separating the embrace you held with your sweet brother. "You're fine," you sighed. "Anything is better than what I'm told on a daily basis," couldn't get anymore truth than that. Being told you never should have existed, only ever had one purpose in life, almost nobody loved you. It's all harsh, eating at your sense of mind over the years leaving a battered young woman here with little to no sense of trust in others. You shouldn't live this way.

"I can imagine," Kaminari agreed with your comments, he didn't even need to know what you just thought to understand the life you lived. "But if you prefer my flirting I have lots more where that came from!"

"Really?" You asked curiously.

"Great... Here we go," Todoroki rolled his eyes.

"With a girl as beautiful as you, you don't need a quirk to be super!" Kaminari came up with that pick up line off the top of his head and it seemed to have worked. The way your mouth hung open and you were speechless holding a hand to your heart. Todoroki faltered not expecting the cheesy pick up line to have actually move you as much as it did.

"Shoto," You threw your head backwards looking at your brother upside down. "I really like your friends."

"I can tell," Todoroki snickered. "Well you'll have the entire weekend to hang out with them so make the most of it."

"Thank you Shoto!"
