The Conqueror's Pet: Bakugou x Reader Fantasy AU

Also, sorry if this feels long and a bit 'in depth.' I got way too into this and feels like a chapter book.

Servants bowed with utmost respect as Elites: the five strongest warriors from all over the kingdom trailed in one after the other with their heads held high to serve their Newfound King. With four Elites in counting, the last to arrive in the throne room of the King's palace was Sir Hawks: the Warrior of the Skies. A grand shadow enveloped the room in the shape of a bird with Hawks' entrance. His scarlet wings fluttered while he descended from the stained glass skylight for a soft landing below.

"The party has arrived!" Hawks smirked, flashing yourself in particular his signature flirtatious glance. "How're you doin'? You new to the Royal Circle?"

"Yes..." You bowed your head. "I was appointed when King Endeavor assumed the throne... The same time as everyone else including you."

"As was I!" Hawks gaped and gawked.

"I..." Is this guy an idiot? "Nevermind I'm not bothering with you," you faced the throne of which King Endeavor sat and hadn't changed in expression. Although, his eyes couldn't lie, they were blazing in annoyance and it wasn't his beard of crimson flames reflecting within them.

"Father... Your Royal Elite has collected," Princess Fuyumi, wearing her dress of silk as white as snow informed her father of the gathering.

"I'm quite aware," Endeavor grumbled, only to take a stand before his Elite tall and proud. "I've summoned you here on matters of great urgency... The Menace of the Skies has been spotted south of our southern most border."

Iida pulled his helmet of steel from off his head to reveal himself to have hair of deep indigo and a fierce gaze of determination. "Bakugou the Conqueror... Yes, I've witnessed his dragon soar the skies on my voyage over."

"Bakugou the Conqueror shall not enter our Kingdom and if he does, slay him where he stands," Endeavor turned, sitting within his throne. "Now, you have a job to fulfill. All of you to yours posts!"

Everyone crossed an arm over their chest, pressing their fist to their opposite shoulder for a salute. "Yes King Endeavor!!!"

Hawks offered everyone a lift to their posts at the four corners of the Kingdom from the pure goodness of his heart. Iida the Royal Knight to the North, Midoriya the Paladin to the East, Yaoyorozu the Valkyrie to the West and lastly yourself to the South while Hawks was positioned strictly to the skies and mountains.

The Southern Border was the most dangerous of all the borders, it faced the other Kindoms while the others faced the great blue sea. Normally, you had Prince Shoto to aid when the other invasions of other Kingdoms came through. However nobody in the Royal Family are allowed to leave the Palace walls until The Conqueror is slain. And that's a problem...

Nobody has fought The Conqueror and lived to tell the tale...

After an afternoon of sky gazing, you witnessed nothing but a few witches on their broomsticks and Kaminari riding his pet Thunderbird across the blue heavens. "I haven't seen a single dragon let alone anything interesting all day..." You strolled away from your post and made sure to acquire your bow. Thankfully a large forest lined the southern border. Your stomach was grumbling like a bear with the coming of lunch. Hmmm maybe you'll kill a bear for lunch? At this point you could eat out a whole village's food supply.

Crunch, was a branch. An arrow was drawn to your ear, the stone tip was reflecting the sunlight into your eyes. An animal was close by...
