A sweaty hand holding your own and the sweet scent of flowers wafting through the air. You couldn’t be more thankful that one of your uncle’s students were taking time out of your day to treat you to an afternoon out on the town. Actually, you didn’t quite understand why, but Katsuki Bakugou has been your personal escort for about a month now. Sort of… He almost always needs permission to leave school property if it isn’t school or internship related and half of the time his request to leave is declined. The second problem is that you don’t live on school property and can only visit whenever your Uncle All Might has the time to take you in. The third and final problem is that you never know Bakugou’s schedule. One day he could be up to his knees in homework and other times he’d have absolutely nothing to do. As of lately, you coincidentally visit the UA campus on days he’s at his busiest. You love being around Bakugou don’t get yourself wrong. It’s just… Being blind complicates things greatly. You hate using your cane, therefore you can’t be trusted to find yourself around in public. That means, you have no choice but to rely on others to get around and that’s a topic you haven’t brought up to Bakugou yet…
To bring up said topic should be rather easy as you can tell by Bakugou’s body language. The signs point to Bakugou’s emotions being more uplifted than usual in the way his hold upon your hand was more gentle with care. You never do get out much and every second counts. You wonder where Bakugou has taken you today, your ears are suggesting that the surroundings must be that of a public park. Children were screaming in joy, the creaking of chains to a swing, the enthralled barks and howls of playful canines and the almost comical quacking of ducks in a nearby pond judging by the way water would splash and trickle. Your ears could pick up on anything you could say, and by golly you’re touched that your dear friend treated you to a day in the park.
“I sure feels like a nice day…” You spoke up as to drive Bakugou into a conversation you knew he’d never start. “Is it nice today Bakugou?” You held his hand tighter for a slim second. “Is the sun shining? Are there any clouds? I can tell that it’s bright out but that’s about it,” yeah… The sun was beginning to bother you. You’re not completely blind as to all you saw was black. You could still tell the difference in the brightness of your surroundings. Normally light isn’t a problem; the sun must be blaring today. Wish you had known that today was an outdoor day as you’d have brought your sunglasses.
