I spent the next day avoiding Kyson at all costs while he pouted and tried to get my attention. I couldn't look in his eyes, and lie to him.
"Baby", He says coming in the room
"Huh", I say packing a couple clothes into an overnight bag over his gun that I took from the drawer.
"What are you packing for? You leaving me again?", He asks from the doorway with a sad look. Charlie curled at his feet practically walking on his shoes
"No. I'm going to stay with Amira for the night. We gotta discuss some stuff", I say as his eyebrows scrunch together and he frowns like he can't believe what I was saying
"why you keep Lying to me?", he finally asks angrily, pulling me to him
"I-I'm not lying Kyson", I say shakily while trying to pull back
"Why you doing this?", he whispers placing his forehead on mine
This is new. Usually when there is an argument his anger gets control and he end up yelling or throwing stuff or walking out slamming doors behind him. Was he actually calming down?
"I'm trying something new", he says answering my question for me with a smile

"Come back in one piece and make sure you eat baby. I love you, and I just want you to be safe", he says as I nod
"I will Beast", I say still smiling from his soft actions even when he is clearly angry
"Ight. Text me every now and then so I won't go crazy with you not here.", He says watching me finish packing the bag
"I'll be back tomorrow. I'll eat. I will text you, and I'll keep me and baby safe. We love you too", I say holding the bag over my shoulder and hugging him.
"You really have no idea how hard this is. They all screaming to keep you here, but I trust you and I'm in control. See you toma baby", he says hugging me back and slapping my ass before walking into the bathroom.
I sigh wanting nothing more to stay here with him. I had to speed walk to the car, so I won't go back in and tell him everything.
I just needed to make it to Mira's house and set this plan in action.
