"Cut the bullshit", Kyson says harshly through the phone to a new client
"Babe", I call coming into his office with Charlie curled in my arms
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair before putting a finger up at me.
His attention couldn't always be on me, but I wanted it to be. His mind has been on nothing but this case the last week, and he really has been paying me no mind.
"I said I will handle it. I will fucking kill him, but you constantly pestering me is going to make me put a bullet in both of ya'll asses", He says hanging up the phone
Kill? My mind whirls with thoughts of what he just said when suddenly he speaks.
"What's good baby?", he asks patting his leg
"Can we go out to eat? I'm hungry", I ask taking my rightful place on his lap
"I can't il mio amore. I really have to handle business with Amira", He says kissing my cheek before standing up
"That's all I've been hearing lately", I sigh walking out the room

Five hours later, Kyson walked back in the house with a smile on his face. He handled the case and he could finally lay up with his baby.
The distant sound of her laughing and talking to someone filled the quiet house, and he frowned following it to his room.
"Beauty?", he calls peeking his head in to see her on the phone
She quickly hangs up the phone, before turning to him.
"Huh? Oh you back already?", She asks looking at the bed
"What the fuck you mean! Ashlyn don't get your ass beat. Who the fuck was that?", he asks taking a deep breathe to calm his anger
