I laugh from my spot on the bed with Kyrie, and his eyes meet mine with the biggest smile.
It's been three full weeks since Kyson came home to us, and he had been taking up as much time as he could with his family before he has to leave again. He explained the whole family business to me including everyone's role, and what he has to do for them and us. He keeps the bad away from his family and without him everything would go downhill. I respected that. He also started a counseling group to help with his anger because he claimed that he couldn't bring the anger from work home to his family.
"Help me sing bae", He says raising an eyebrow and breaking me from my thoughts
"Hell no Kyson", I laugh
"I'd like to make myself believe that planet earth turns slowly", Kyson sings turning him and the laughing baby around
"My Chunka said you need to put him down", I smile reaching for him
"Oh is that right?", he questions holding the baby in one arm while grabbing Kyrie up with the other
"Daddy!", Kyrie giggles
"Imma just take both of them", Kyson says smiling evilly
"I'll just go find me two other babies then", I shrug
"No mommy! Only me and Cruz! That's it That's all!", Kyrie huffs wiggling down to run back to me
"Okay baby...only you and Cruz ", I laugh kissing his face
"Oh and Charlie", I say kissing the cat who meowed in distaste at the fact I didn't give him kisses
"So Bae what happened at counseling today?", I ask curiously Kyson after a while
"We just talked about the impact our anger has on other people, and I realized that I put you through a lot when I go on a cycle or get angry and break things", he says shrugging but to me that was big deal because he was truly understanding what his anger did
"I'm so proud of you", I say holding my arms out for him
He laughs and lays next to me with Cruz and Kyrie between us. Cruz was basically the perfect combination of both of us now. It was adorable.
