Cal's POV

"WHAT!" I yell at Ada "Cal calm down she's not even here yet" she says, I take a deep breath "I'm not ready" I say "Cal, this may sound insensitive but she just said some things about your dad, in all fairness you said some stuff about her brother, but its been 5 weeks you should be over it by now" she says, but she doesn't know what I did. I guess I look like I'm gonna throw up again because Ada asks "Cal, what did you do?" I take a deep breath "it doesn't matter what I did..." before I can continue Ada interrupts me "Cal, what did you do?" She says louder "that night after the fight, I went to a bar and got drunk while talking to the premier about her and my relationship issues, I don't remember what happened after that but I woke up the next morning in the premiers bed with her, we were both naked."I say shame and guilt washing over me "you are an idiot." She says "I can't believe this, she has enough to worry about coming back to see you, not to mention what she's going through." She says "what do you mean, what's she going through?" I say, her face goes white "shit" she whispers under her breath. "Nothing ill leave you alone" she says and starts to leave, I grab her wrist "Ada. What's going on with Mare?" I ask slow and desperate "ill let her tell you when she gets here." She says and I let go of her wrist. She leaves and I'm left alone in my room, i'm no longer worried about what I did, although that does stay in the back of my mind like always, no I'm worried about Mare. What on earth happened to her.

Mare POV

"Mare wake up." I hear a familiar voice say "mnmnmhnmhmh" I groan and shover their hand away "Mare." They say again I turn around. Then all of a sudden something no someone jumps on me "WAKE UP AUNT MARE" I hear Clara say . I sit up and I see her sitting right next to me "well hello there" I say and pick her up and set her in my lap "what are you doing here?" I ask at Clara but really the question was for Farley "I'm here to take you to the doctor, and miss Clara is here to be babysat by Gisa" she says and picks up Clara "I want to play with uncle Bree!" Clara yells. Farley and I both look at each other in surprise "oh well I'm sure he won't mind" I say "alright, why don't you go find him" Farley says and puts Clara down. She runs yelling "UNCLE BREE!" Farley and I laugh. "Come on get up we gotta get going" Farley says I check to see what time it is "7AM!" I yell, why the hell did she wake me up so early "your mother called in a favour from a friend and being late is not going to look good for you and your mother. sooo...." she says and rips the blanket off my bed and I curl into a ball from the cold "get up" she finishes and walks out. I get out of bed and take a shower because I've barley gotten out since I started getting sick a week ago, and put on the most comfortable cloths I have, an army green tank top with a black zip up sweater with black leggings, and ugs for shoes. When I get downstairs I see Farley talking to Bree about taking care of Clara, I decide to just wait at the door for her "you look comfortable" I hear Trammy say "its just the docotors not a Gala" I say and he laughs "how you doing?" He asks getting up from the couch "better then last night ill tell you that" I say. Last night at dinner mom cooked my favourite meal roasted chicken, and roasted vegetables. Plain I know but I love it, well used to love it. See when my mom brought out the vegetables I got one whiff of it and ran to the bathroom to throw up. Now I can't even look at carrots let alone be in the same house if someone cooks them. "Well thats good" he says back "I'm surprised you're not more nervous" he continues "I just woke up 20 minutes ago, I bet you once I'm in the car with Farley ill start to freak" I say and we both laugh "Mare you ready to go?" Farley asks and its then the nerves hit me like a truck. Bile rises in mt throat "Mare you ok" Trammy asks me "ya ya I'm fine, ya I'm ready lets go" I say and walk out the door with Farley. We get in the car and drive to the doctor, we don't talk for the whole ride, me because if I open my mouth I might throw up everywhere, Farley I'm guessing because she knows that I might projectile vomit all over her car. Once we get inside the doctors office I expected there to be a lot more people, but theres no one. "Come on over here" Farley says and drags me to the check in "Hello, you must be miss Farley and miss Barrow" The receptionist says "wait how..." I start but get cut off by Farley "yes we are, I hope where not too late." She says. How can we be late it looks like it isn't even open yet, I think "oh not at all, if you two will follow me ill take you to your room and Dr. Holly will meet you shortly." She says standing up and leading us to the room. When we get there she asks me to take off my cloths and put on a hospital gown, I do as she says and then she starts doing what I can only describe as a physical, weighing me, measuring me, asking me questions. When she's done she tells me to sit on this weird bed thing and leaves. "Well this place is a lot more impressive then the hospital I went to in Piedmont" Farley says "you can really tell she's the best OB-GYN in Montfort" she continues "wait what, she's the best in Montfort" Farley just looks at me and smiles. "Hello Miss barrow, My name is Dr. Genevieve Holly but you can just call me Holly if you like" she says and shakes my hand "its nice to meet you" I say and we stop shaking hands "and good to finally meet you Farley" she says "yes it is" Farley replies. "Alright lets start shall we, Mare could you put your feet on these please" Holly says gesturing to these what I can only describe as petals,

When I put my feet on them it spreads my legs apart, Farley moves towards my head as to not see anything. "Alright so when did your last period start?" She asks "oh um I think 6 weeks ago maybe? But I had a light one like 3 weeks ago." I say "thats normal to get a light period after you get pregnant" she says "so that means you are 6 weeks pregnant, we normaly start the count from the first day of your last period, which means..."she types something into her computer "you will have your baby October 31st" I laugh when she says that "whats s funny about that?" Farley asks "thats Cal's Birthday" I say and Farley gives a small laugh too "I take it he's the Father?" Holly asks "yes he is" I say but I don't frown or get sick. I'm confused why I'm not. I guess my confusion shows because holly says "I'm a new blood, my ability allows me to put people at ease, but prevents me from yelling or arguing" I look at her in astonishment "anyways we should get started now this will be a lot different then it looks in the movies, because its too early to tell we can't do a standard ultrasound, we have to do a transvaginal sonogram" when she says that, I see Farley shift in her seat. "What's that?" I ask "its an ultrasound that is taken from inside your uterus, which means..." she says and pulls out this wand, or stick, or poll and puts a condom on it? My eyes go wide, Farley rubs my leg "its not as bad as it looks, it's kind of like a dildo if it weren't trying to turn you on, just make you slightly uncomfortable." She says and I full on laugh a what she just said, "never in my life have I ever heard something like that come out of your mouth" I say and we both laugh together "ok I'm going to need you to relax okay it will feel a little weird" she says and inserts the Cane? I shift but then I look at the screen and see it that small black bean. I see my baby.
