Accidents make perfection

Chapter 32

Cal POV

"Hey Kilorn" I say and he looks pissed at me "you colossal dickhead, do you know how much you fucked up" he says "it's nice to see you too, why don't you come in" I say. I close the door behind him "look Kilorn I know I fucked up, believe me Mare made that very clear. So if you could spare me the scolding and just tell me in one quick sentence what you wanted to say to me" I say and he thinks for a second, I'm guessing on how to compress everything into one sentence "you have the most incredible, outstanding girl I've ever met. You are the luckiest man in the wold, and yet you don't realize how little it takes to ruin it all" he says "your right" I say and he nods he starts to leave but then turns "I just want to know why you did it?" He says "i was drunk, i wanted my pain erased. So I found the first person who would be able to erase it. I wasn't thinking straight." I say "so you plan on going back to her tomorrow?" He asks and I let out a small laugh "of course" I say "good" he says and leaves.

Mare POV

It's now 6pm on the day I told Cal he could come and see me, and I'm starting to worry if he'll come at all until I hear a knock on the door. I get up from the couch which now takes me a while and get to the door I open it and there he is Cal "hey" he says "hey" I say back and we just stand there for a while "um guys" a voice says behind me "hmm" I say turning and see Kilorn and Cam "we're heading out for dinner" she says "oh ok" I say and let them past us "I brought dinner" Cal says holding up take out and my eyes go wide "yesssss" I say grabbing it and taking it to the couch he laughs and follows me "did you get my favourite" I say and he sits next to me "if i didn't i don't think you'd let me stay" he says and that makes me smile "so are we gonna eat first or talk?" He asks and I stop going through the bag "I'm not going to forgive you, and I'm really angry with you. " I say and he looks like he's been rejected "But, you haven't done anything to break my trust the whole nine months of this pregnancy. In fact you've been the best boyfriend I could ask for." I say and he smiles "I love you, and as long as you don't do anything stupid again, this baby's coming in a week and I need the father" I say with my eyes tearing up in joy. He comes closer and we kiss "I'm sorry I'm so so sorry and it will never ever happen again" he says and I laugh "I know it won't" I say and then the baby starts to kick like crazy "looks like someone's happy" he says and I laugh "let's pack all this up, and take it home" I say and he smiles "I'll go get your stuff" he says and heads to the room I was staying in. I pack all the food back up and I leave a note for Kilorn on what happened. We go back home and get into bed and eat the takeout, I'm so happy to have him. And I never want to lose him.

Mare POV

It's Cals birthday today which also means it's my due day, Cal insisted on not doing anything for it so we just stayed home, i woke up early and i made him his favourite breakfast "you really didn't have to" he says and I laugh "no I did, it's your birthday and you told me we couldn't do anything. So the next best thing is to make this the best day ever" I say And he pulls me onto his lap "the only thing that could make this day any better is if you had our baby" he says and kisses my pregnant belly "I'm working on it" I say.

Cal and I just had fun talking about who the baby would look like more, what ability it would have, what colour blood it would have "Well Holly told me that it's usually red blood but there where some cases where silver was dominant" I say and he nods. I look at the time and it's 9pm "fuck I don't want to have this baby in the middle of the night" I say and he laughs "well remember what she said, the due date is usually wrong" he says and I sigh "I just don't want to have to carry her anymore, I just want to meet her" I say and he rubs my arm "him, and I know I want to meet him too" he says "Holly told me if I don't have the baby in a week that I should go in for an appointment, but I hope it doesn't take that long" I say "we should probably go to bed" Cal says I sigh "ya we should" I say I get off of Cal and he gets up, he then puts out both hands and helps me up and I fall right into him "I also can't wait until I can get up with out needing help" I say and he puts his hands on what was my waist and then moves to my pregnant belly "I love you" he says and I smile "I love you too"
