PART 2 : MOST HORRIFYING NIGHTS OF MY LIFE
NOV. 24 & 25, 2008.
They were apologetic.
We proceeded to Tayabas City. The Lady Boss was already there. She was one kind (overly?) nice lady, around 55, while her husband is around 65. Wala silang anak. The Big Boss has 4 grown-up children with his first wife, 2 are in the US while the other 2 are in Manila, with their own families and businesses as well. So money is not not a problem for them, in fact sobra-sobra pa, kasi 2 na lang sila.
How did I meet them? Fast-forward 1 minute…..
I was Franchise Manager of Mr. Softy Ice Cream (the Phil. Leading soft serve ice cream with over 300 branches nationwide, most of which were franchise). I travelled a lot visiting franchise branches and company-owned outlets. Sa SM Batangas City doon ko nakilala si Mrs. Rich. Meron silang other food outlets din doon (small time business lang nila, managed by the wife, to keep her busy), while the husband was taking care of their main businesses. She inquired how to get a franchise. In short I explained to her. I told them to pay us a visit at Mr. Softy main office and in a week’s time, they did. After a short meeting, she gave me her card and told me to call her anytime for anything.
That was August, and about that time, medyo may reorganization ang Mr. Softy and I did not like the new set-up so I resigned. About 3 weeks I was job-hunting. Meron naman nakukuha after the final interview, but not happy with the remuneration (nasanay siguro sa magandang package sa Mr. Softy). So I rejected all the mediocre offers. Until one day, I remembered the standing offer of Mrs. Rich, so I called her. She was so ecstatic! Sobrang tuwa niya and she said, “Come to our house in Paranaque, we would like to talk to you.” So I proceeded to their place, and I was offered a much better package! Sabi nila, I have to start immediately, and I was offered a room in their big house in Paranaque with company driver (my own driver!). I was also given a month salary joining bonus!
Umuwi muna ako to get some clothes and stuff. “ Aba ayos ito” , sabi ko sa sarili ko. So nagpakitang gilas. Gusto din nila magtayo ng soft ice cream business – and being knowledgeable in this industry, madali lang sa akin, especially money was not a problem. That was first week of Sept. na. In 2 months, I was able to open 6 outlets, and more under discussion with SM Leasing Dept./Management .
So Nov. 24 na, Mrs. Rich called me na pupunta kami sa Tayabas. Nauna ako with the driver and 2 more, while Lady Boss who was in Batangas will leave early morning of Nov. 25. with her driver and alalays.
Bumaba kami sa sasakyan, palusong/pababa yung way hanggang sa may palayan. Then may mataas na gate, at bundok with walled house. Pakiwari ko wala ako sa kabundukan ng Tayabas that time. The place was awesome! With beautiful gardens, with ponds, fishes and different kinds of birds and animals sa loob! Animoy parang Paradise ni Quiboloy! I was awestrucked sa ganda naman! Saglit kong nakalimutan ang harrowing experience ko the night before. There were many beautiful bungalow houses with fences each house. At sa mataas na bundok, may walls with green vines all over it, and a mansion on top of the mountain. Kasi nasa mababang lugar yung garden and house ni Mrs. Rich, so tinitingala mo talaga yung big house. Sa paanan ng bundok ay bangin about 20 meters ang taas, then palayan. We had lunch, rested for a while, then dinner. I was asking about that big, walled house, but they were not answering, Iniiba ang topic pag nagtanong ako.
After dinner, in about 1 hour (doon ako sa garden appreciating the birds and wildlife), dumating si Madam, at tinawag ako aakyat daw kami sa mansion. It was a big surprise for me, akalain mo! What was more surprising was, may secret passage ang bawat house and stairs each house going to the mansion! May lagusan paikot-ikot, taking stairs hanggang makarating sa mansion. Kita mo na ang baba, siguro 20 meters from the house/mountain view. The scenery was breathtaking! It was an old mansion. I was so sleepy na kasi wala akong tulog the night before, so I was assisted to one of the rooms. I was not shown the whole house. Nakatulog agad ako, sleeping like a baby sa himbing.
At around 12 midnight, I was horrified! There were 6 women all in white robes na nakapalibot sa akin, and with white veils, each holding a lit yellow-colored candle, mumbling incantations! I was horrified and about to scream, but one of the ladies put a towel on my face/nose at may naamoy ako. I was weakened. Nanghina ako, that they carried me and brought me to the center of the house - their ALTAR! Mahina ako physically at nahilo ako, but my whole mind and all my senses were functioning.
NASA KALAGITNAAN PALA AKO NG KULTO!
Pabilog yung hugis ng altar with a pyramid shape at the center/ceiling with all different kinds of rebultos and crosses! There were red candles everywhere adorning the place. Different smells, too, naghalu-halo na – the smell of candles burning, flowers, oils, herbs, etc. There was smoke, too! Kaloka! Adult/matured ladies and men all wore white robes, each with yellow candles. SA ISIP KO KATAPUSAN KO NA YATA! I was shivering, it was a cold night on that mountainous area, but I was profusely sweating. Nanginginig ako sa takot, I was mumbling prayers and rebuking the demons. I was praying in my mind. I asked God to come to my rescue.
2 women came in with warm water, oils, herbs and sponge and began giving me sponge bath – from my feet to my head, then I was given a white robe na amoy almirol. I was thinking I was about to be sacrificed/offered. Then came Mrs. Rich, she lifted her veil – SHE WAS THEIR PRIESTESS AND PROPHETESS PALA! Inakay nila ako papunta sa may harap ng altar where an old man with long, white beard, in white robe was sitting. He began to speak in prophesying note speaking all about me! My name, birthdate, etc. ! Sabi ko sa sarili ko, “ How in the world did he know everything about me?” Yon pala based daw sa priestess nila, binigay niya yung biodata ko sa old man/ermitanyo.
While they were singing and giving enchantments and incantations, umiikot yung mata ko while nakaupo sa trono. Almost 1 hour passed while they were dancing and singing, unti unti na-regain ko ang lakas ko. Nanginginig ako, tumutulo luha ko and praying, but to my mind, pag may makita akong lalapit na may dalang kutsilyo tatadyakan ko agad, at sabay takbo at talon sa bintana. The window – traditional old house, made of capiz shells and ornaments – was half open.
HALLELUYAH! Hindi pala ako isasakripisyo! I am alive! Nakahinga ako ng maluwag. The ritual lasted maybe for 2 hours, before they closed the ritual. I was accosted back to my room. I locked the door, knelt and cried to God Almighty. Sabi ko “ Ano itong napasok ko” ? I knelt for hours and prayed, and thanked God that nothing untoward happened to me.
I woke up in the morning, and I was treated like a king.
Are you familiar with Mount Banahaw? Yes, that is in Tayabas. This is the reason why there are many cults in that area – the belief that Mt. Banahaw is sacred.
Lumuwas muna kami pa-Manila, to get my things and then go back there and be their new leader. While on the road, doon ko napagtanto why they left me alone in that haunted house in Lucena: FIRST, it was a test for me for a higher purpose. It is like “ a test of fire”; SECOND, to test my integrity, whether or not I will keep my promise na hindi ko sasabihin kaninuman at sa lady Boss yung pangyayari sa gabing iyon. Sa kanila, I passed the 2 trials, and I am fit to be their new leader.
After getting my November salary I immediately tendered my irrevocable resignation. The lady Boss cried and asked why? She told me if money is the issue, they can triple or quadruple my salary just for me to stay. But I said NO. Hindi na ako nagpakita pa, and I also changed my phone number. Tinapos ko muna ang December sa Manila, then by January 2009 I began applying for Saudi. Luckily I got hired and by March 9 , lumipad na ako pa-Saudi.
YES folks, Nov. 24 and 25 are eerily unforgettable days. Just before my flight to KSA, I went to Antipolo Prayer Mountain and cast out those evil incantations made on me. After all, I knew I was washed by the Blood of the Lord Jesus and I have His undying Words in me, and those cults and occults laid have no effect on me, being a son of God, bought by His Blood.
Praise the Lord! Amen!
