****First, Happy New Year! I am sorry I haven't updated in a while, I am new to writing and I stupidly didn't realize how truly time consuming it is. But I will try to be better about planning my writing time. I will have another chapter or two up tonight/tomorrow :)

I also wanna give a huge shout out to K_Williams1 for making my new cover <3 love it <3

Please leave comments. Please...please... please. thanx <3 Hereeeeeeeeeees Decan. Mwahahahahahah**********

Decan POV

Sang Sorenson. Ghost Bird, adopted by team Blackbourne. How interesting. Dropping my keys on the hook, I use my foot to kick the door shut and make my way to the kitchen. As exciting as lunch was today, I didn't get to eat nearly enough. Chuckling to myself, I replayed the smack down little miss ghostie handed that twit Jade. I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face, since watching Jay drag her dumb ass off school grounds. The best part was that Ghostie didn't seem to realize what she was doing. Jade was going to be a problem. My smile dimmed at that thought. Oh well, between her team and my family, we could keep her safe. Shaking my head I picked up my phone and shot Karen a text.

Dec: Hey squirt, can you send me the number of that girl from lunch?

Squirt: Fuck you Dec. You know her name. What the hell was that today? I haven't seen you pull that crap on someone in years...

This made him laugh out loud. She was right though, I hadn't toyed with anyone like that in a while. What she probably didn't realize was that I wasn't toying with Sang as much as I was toying with her merry band of men. Sure, everyone saw that they were acting like a bunch of cavemen, but I doubt anyone realized I was doing it for their benefit.

Dec: Her number please...

Squirt: Say her name.

Dec: What is this a bad 90's song? Just give me the girl's number.

It took a minute before she responded and the waiting was annoying me a bit. Why did we always have to bicker?

Squirt: No

No. What the hell? Why wouldn't she just give it to me...unless she didn't have it.

Dec: You don't have it do you?

No answer. That means she doesn't and doesn't want to admit it. I was under the impression they were friends. Interesting. I'll bother her about that later. Knowing that Mike and Jer definitely didn't have it, I was about to put my phone back in my pocket when it started to ring. 12pm. Right on time.

"Hello Phil, how are you doing today?"

"Hello Decan!" Phil Roberts. My favorite old guy. He was basically like my grandfather over the past few years. It was so good to be back in the same city again. I heard his voice often, but it was different hearing it, knowing he wasn't far. "I'm doing very well my boy, how was your trip?"

"It was fine. Got in late last night. Already had quiet an interesting day." I said as the smile returned to my face.

"I assume that means you already met the lovely Miss Sang." He chuckled softly under his breathe. Lovely was a goddamn understatement.

"Hey now. Non of that sir. She has more than enough suitors already." I said with mock disappointment. He laughed a little louder and was about to say something else when I heard the beep, indicating another person had signed on the call.

"Good afternoon gentlemen." Lily said. Lily Anderson was just as dear to me as Phil, though in a slightly different role. She was my therapist and friend.
