Sang POV

Stopping outside of my Homeroom class, I turned to Decan. "I...I don't even know what to say about what just happened," I said quietly. His eyes were kind as they held mine, and his soft smile turned into a dangerous smirk.

"I would say that you were pretty bad ass." I felt my cheeks blush, but I was already smiling back at him.

"Yeah, well, I just...lost my temper...I guess. They all drive me crazy sometimes. I just... I don't know. I know you want to talk, but I really want to try and attend all my classes today. Can we talk during lunch? Or after school?" He stared at me for a moment, probably thinking about his schedule for the day.

"Cupcake, what just happened?" Luke was walking up behind Decan with a determined look on his face. I gulped. He wasn't going to let this go. Truth was, I wasn't entirely sure what just happened. I wasn't sure of anything anymore. When he next to Decan, he brushed past him, unnecessarily close, and bumped his shoulder. When he made it to me, he threw his arm over my shoulder and pulled me in close, much like Silas had this morning. It irritated me now, just as much as it had then.

"Luke, that was rude, apologize." I said, shocked at Luke for even acting like this. I would expect this from North, or even Nathan, but not Luke. He looked at me with wide innocent eyes. Decan snorted, sporting an amused smile. At least he wasn't upset.

"What did I do?" Luke asked, feigning stupid. I glared at him in response. He knew exactly what he did. And he was going to apologize for it, or I was going to tell North where all his candy stashes were. No, that's not true. I was just going to take them, and move them. For myself. Yea, that was a better strategy. He tried to read the words in my eyes, and I think he got the gist, but probably not the details. He did seem to realize I was serious though, because he swallowed hard and then turned to Decan.

"Sorry, man." He said through narrowed eyes and a tight jaw. He wasn't even trying to pretend that he meant it.

"No worries, hallway is crowded. I get it." Decan turned his eyes back to me and smiled wide. "How about we grab a bite after school, and we can talk then?" Luke stiffened and pulled me even closer to his body. If he held me any tighter it might hurt. I huffed, because the possessiveness was getting out of hand. Trying to focus on Decan's question, I tried to think about whether or not I had time to do that today.

"I think that should be fine. I have a shift at the dinner tonight I think, so I won't have much time. Is that okay?" Luke whipped his head in my direction with a look of disbelief.

"Yea, that's fine. We just need to get some stuff on the schedule. We can even eat there if you want." I started nodding, because that would be best.

"Yea, that works. What time do you want to meet there?" I knew he left school earlier than me, so I didn't want to assume anything.

"Why don't I just pick you up after school and we can go together? It will give us more time to chat about everything. I'm sure you have questions." I started to open my mouth to respond, when Luke decided he couldn't be silent any longer.

"What the hell are you guys talking about?" Decan didn't react at all. He acted as if he hadn't even heard Luke speak. I however, wasn't ready to answer that question, and knew that Luke would not like that.

"Luke, can you just go inside. I will be right there." I asked quietly. I knew how much he would hate leaving me alone in general, let along with another guy. Especially Decan. I wasn't stupid. I knew they were all jealous of Decan for some reason. I couldn't fathom why though. I didn't need anymore boys to crush on. Nine was enough. Well, eight. Eight was enough.
