Uncle POV (Mwhahahaha-didn't see that coming did you ;P)

Before Sang could answer Gabriel, Marc kept on talking, completely ignoring the 9 men that were glaring daggers at him. Ever since the little bird had come in the yesterday, I had been trying to pay closer attention to the dynamics of the group in front of me. I already knew North had been acting oddly, entirely too close to a girl that was supposed to be dating Luke. But now I was starting to see that it wasn't just North. What exactly was going on here?

"So what will it be, my dear? Vanilla like last time? Maybe something a little more daring this time? I'm here to serve." Marc was laying it on pretty thick, making everything he said sound inappropriate. Normally, I would step in and say something but I was too busy watching the boys. Luke and Gabriel's mouths were gaping at the implications of Marc's words. North was vibrating with rage while Silas was just smirking, bemused at the new situation.

Owen had completely shut down his expression, as he often does when he wants to seem unaffected. I don't know when that boy was going to realize he wasn't really fooling anyone. Sean looked perplexed but otherwise unbothered.

Kota and Nathan looked equally confused, but there was a coldness in Nathan's stare that I wasn't sure I had ever seen before. He was eyeing Marc, as if sizing him up for a fight. Which was ridiculous, because Nathan knew better then anyone that Marc would lay his ass out in 10 seconds flat. Any member of the Toma team would. Nathan was tough, best of his age, but he was not a match for the Tomas.

Victor was the only one that looked completely calm. In fact, he had been the only one at ease since Sang walked in the door. Standing with Decan, he just watched the scene with a sort of detached amusement, and what I think was regret? Seriously, what the hell was going on here?

Shifting my eyes back to Sang, I noticed there was a distinct shift in her mood. Her smile had dropped and her shoulders were tense. Her brows were slightly pinched together in thought, and she was studying Marc's face, searching for...something...but I don't think she was finding it. Marc was giving her nothing but a creepy grin and an intense stare. He was gonna wait her out, extend the tension as far as he could. Sang shot a quick glance to Sean, asking him a silent question, which he answered with an uncomfortable chuckle and a shake of his head. Don't worry about it he seemed to be saying. Well, that was not what Sang was looking for. Her eyes shot to Decan next, who sauntered right over to her without hesitation. When had they become so close?

"Stop teasing her Marc. It isn't nice or smart", Decan said shaking his head in faux disappointment.

"What isn't smart about it, Casper?" Marc's eyes glittered with challenge before they swept around the room, taking in all the different reactions of the boys. Several of them drew in a sharp breath at the nickname, making the connection immediately. Not only did Marc know Sang, but he also knew Decan, pretty well it would seem. And it was clear most of the boys had not known until just now who Decan truly was. Again, I was struggling to figure out what was going on here.

"Well, for one, you're poking the bear. And let me tell you, she is a vicious little thing. Mark my words, you don't want to go quip for quip with this one," he drawled, hitching his head at Sang. Sang reacted by crossing her arms and lifting her chin up at Marc. God she was adorable. Just looking at Sang, one would think Decan's warning was laughable, but after getting to know her, I knew better. One of the best moments of my life was when she schooled North about peeling a banana.

"Oh really..." Mark responded, eyeing Sang up and down like a lazy predator. If I didn't know for a fact that this was all for show, I would have hit him over the head with his fancy coffee machine, for looking at a young lady like that in public. As it was, Silas had a restraining hand on North's arm. Nathan looked like his head was about to explode off his body. And Luke looked like he was going to throw up. At some point, Karen and her group of friends had sat down to watch the show. They were all smiling like this was the best thing they had ever seen. And honestly, if this was a different bird, with a different group of dogs, I would probably be just as entertained. But it wasn't. It was my little bird, and my group of pups, and I frankly did not like the implications of what I was seeing. "I don't think I would mind going a few rounds with her. I love a good battle of wills, don't you Sang?" Marc basically purred.
