***I apologize if the editting isn't perfect. I tried. I just really wanted to get this out. This is a roller coaster of a chapter guys. Things are really starting to come to a head. Please let me know what you think.****

Sang POV

As we pulled up to my house, I started to feel really nervous. I very rarely just got dropped off anymore, and I wasn't sure how to really act. Should I just say bye and run off? Or should I invite them in? Is that really something I could do with Victor in my room? I guess I had spent too much time thinking about it, because the next thing I know, Decan was opening my door for me to get out. I looked up at him, and for the first time since meeting him, really looked at him. His eyes were a gorgeous shade of blue, that almost looked violet. They were nothing like Nathan's deep ocean blue eyes or Gabriel's icy baby blues. They were sharp and bright, and they were looking at me with so much kindness. He put his hand out for me to take, and I didn't even hesitate to grab it. I still didn't understand why, but I felt completely comfortable with Decan. Being around him was easy and I really needed a little bit of easy in my life right now.

Once out of the car, I saw that Karen was already out, leaning against her closed door and glaring at the front of my house. No, not at the house. At Marie. And guess who Marie was glaring at? That's right! Me. I huffed to myself, finding my resolve to get this over with. I was about to speak when Karen opened her mouth.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the bitch that has been avoiding Derrik." I swallowed. I guess that was one way to go about it. Marie's eyes shot to her and blazed.

"You don't know anything about it, so why don't you just shut your mouth." My mouth gaped. Had Marie really just said that? How on earth did she have the nerve to be that bold with someone she doesn't even know? It was one thing to bully me, but a stranger? Did I even know my sister? I was really starting to think that I didn't. She hadn't been kind in a long time, but lately she was becoming more out spoken and aggressive then I had ever known her to be. She turned on her heel abruptly and stomped into the house toward the kitchen, probably assuming that was the end of it. Clearly she didn't know Karen.

Karen shot me a smirk and a wink before she followed Marie with a purposeful stride. Well, this was happening. I gave Decan a scared look, and he returned it with a bemused smile. "Let's go see how this plays out little ghost." Still holding on to my hand, he closed my car door and dragged me straight into the war zone.

"Get out of my house!" Marie shouted.

"No, I'm a guest of Sang's. She wants me here." I scrunched up my face. Though that was not untrue, it wasn't exactly true either.

"Well this is not her house, it is mine. So get out." My eyes widened and I started to panic. She was not stupid enough to say that. Oh god. That was going to lead to so many questions.

"Marie, calm down." I said quickly. If I changed the subject maybe I could distract them. "I talked to Derrik last night, and neither one of us understand why you are avoiding him. He has made it pretty clear that he is interested in you, so what is going on?" There. Poke the bear about something different. She sneered at me with disgust.

"He was interested in me until you spread your legs for him. I saw you both you little whore! I saw you both in your bed." She was yelling at this point. She looked possessed. I just blinked at her. For some reason, when she called me a whore, it really didn't bother me anymore. I mean sure, I was a little embarrassed because Decan and Karen were here, but other then that I guess I was use to it? Decan looked at me as if trying to put together a puzzle, and that made me feel a bit uneasy.

"Listen, you crazy little troll. Derrik is one of my best friends. I would know if he shook the sheets with my girl here. He knows I would murder him if he tried to hide something that awesome from me." Karen said, waiving her hand dismissively. I stared at her incredulously. What? Why would that be awesome? She returned my look. "What? Your a catch. Anyone would want to brag about tapping that." She said and then winked. My cheeks blushed furiously and I dropped my eyes. I didn't understand half of what she just said, but I knew I wanted her to stop talking. Immediately. Decan mumbled something under his breath that sounded suspiciously like "she's not wrong." I was certain I would light on fire.
