Sean's POV
"Sean!" Owen shouted from his desk. I had been off in my own little world day dreaming about my Pookie and how much I missed her. It has been days since I saw her last and I can't help but miss her terribly. Since learning about the Anderson team and they way they operate, I haven't been able to get the smile off my face. I am pretty sure I smiled through my sleep. "Sean, will you pay attention!" Owen snapped. Clearly focusing today is going to be a struggle.
"What, Owen? What is it?" I asked looking over at the huge frown on his face. What could he possibly be frowning about, we just got here.
"The boys seem to think something is wrong with Sang. She is apparently acting wildly out of character." He said with a small bit of exasperation. I used my feet to scoot my chair over closer to him and he shifted his body so that I could lean in and see the text messages on his phone.
Mr. Lee: Good Morning Mr. B. Have you talked to Sang this morning?
Owen: Good Morning Mr. Lee. No, I have not yet spoken to Miss Sorenson. Why do you ask?
Mr. Lee: She is acting very oddly this morning. I was just wondering if maybe something happened. I had thought you had helped her work everything out with North last night and that they were Okay.
Owen: Indeed we did. When I left her yesterday she was perfectly fine. How is she acting oddly?
Mr. Lee: I don't know exactly how to explain it. She is just being...not like her.
Owen: Mr. Lee, I can not help you if you do not tell me what happened.
Mr. Lee: Well, that's just it. Nothing happened exactly. Luke said that he is pretty sure she was lying to them this morning, but that he can't be certain. And I myself had a very...cold interaction with her before she got into the car with North and Luke.
Owen: And why would you be cold to Miss Sorenson?
Mr. Lee: No, Mr. B. She was cold to me.
Owen: How so?
Mr. Lee: Well, she didn't hug me. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but she always lets us hug her.
Owen: Mr. Lee, I don't even know what to say to that.
Mr. Lee: Yea, I know. Luke is texting from the Jeep. He says she is being very quiet and was weird about sitting up front.
Owen: It is possible she is just exhausted. She has had a long few days. Why don't you just ask her?
Mr. Lee: She just jumped out of the Jeep and tried to leave us all behind. Nathan caught up to her and is walking with her, but something is definitely not right.
Owen: Just talk to her Mr. Lee. I'm sure it is nothing.
"Well, well. Little Miss Pookie is giving the boys some attitude. Good for her." I said not even trying to hide my amusement. Sang had so much fire in her when she let her walls down, and relaxed. It always excited and amused me to see.
"Let's hope that all it is Sean. Do you think North may have said something he shouldn't have?" Owen asked, adjusting his glasses.
"Are you buying into this? You seemed like you didn't think anything of it in your responses?" I asked, now amused at my best friend. "Ya know, Sang is a female. They are known to sometimes have moods. Some of them are even unpleasant from time to time. It's completely unpredictable. Sometimes when they are tired or hungry or annoyed, they even act out. Can you believe it? And sometimes, according to men, they can be completely unreasonable." I said in my doctor voice, barely hiding my mirth.Owen looked at me and rolled his eyes. Hard. It made me laugh out loud.
