"Where is he?!" You scream at Jimin, hand frustratedly tugging at your strands while the other tries to keep up with the tears running down your cheeks.

The boy ran to your house looking disheveled and bleeding, scaring you half to death. You brought him in and helped him out while he explained what happened. Your heart sped up when he mentioned Jungkook. Apparently, your boyfriend was beat up too and chased after the guys, yelling at Jimin to come over to yours and that he'll be there soon.

That was two hours ago.

"I don't know. I'm sorry, Y/N," Jimin apologises, looking close to crying himself.

"Oh god," You mutter. You thought that after dating him for three years, it would prepare you for his sudden need to win a fight but worry continues to eat at your heart. You struggle to stay calm and the atmosphere in the apartment descends into a very somber one.

Suddenly, there's a knock at the door.

Your eyes widen as you rush towards it, praying to anyone that's listening that it's not the police to inform you of his death. You open it and are greeted with a panting yet smiling Jungkook.

Crying out in whatever emotion your fucked up self is feeling, you launch yourself into his arms and run your hands through the hair on the back of his head.

"Hey, hey," he mumbles softly, kissing your head. "I'm ok, I promise. Just a couple of scratches."

Jimin joins the hug, sniffling quietly as you shamelessly sob.

"You idiot, why would you run after them?!" You pull away, eyes red and puffy. Jungkook shrugs, wiping underneath your eyes.

"They hurt us, I wasn't going to let them get away."

You hug him again, holding him as if he could disappear the minute you let go. Jungkook notices and he sighs, placing his head on top of yours.

"I'm sorry I put you through that. I promise, I'm fine. C'mon, I want to see you smile."

You look up, a pout set on your face. He chuckles and kisses it, watching as you break out into a grin.

"That's better."
