You knew without anyone having to tell you that Taehyung is a childish person. During the five or so years you've been dating, he's managed to make you smile like no-one before with his playful antics.

In fact, you could go on to say that his childishness is your favourite thing about him.

It explains why you agreed to play a game of hide and seek when he pretty much begged you with his huge eyes and pouty lips.

You'd be a monster to say no.

You emerge from your room after counting to ten, lip in between your teeth. Where could he be?

Searching as quietly as possible, you enter the rooms of the house, ready to announce your win but exit them with disappointment.

You end up in the kitchen, a cold water bottle in your hand. He's nowhere in the house, you think to yourself, a stinging worry eating at your stomach.

Putting your bottle to the side, you search for your phone to call him, instead finding a sticky note stuck to an apple.

Your first clue is to find the last place I felt the burn

You raise an eyebrow, a chuckle slipping past your lips at the note. Of course Taehyung would do something like this. You grab your keys and head out to find the dork.

The only burn you can think of is sunburn. Taehyung burns easily so you always bring a bottle of sunscreen and Aloe Vera whenever he wants to go outside in the sun. He's only just started to notice your tendency to make sure they're both in your bag before leaving, claiming it to be sweet and caring.

The last time he got burnt was a few months ago. You went to the beach for a date and he didn't put any sunscreen on. Needless to say, you know where you're going.

You park the car in the shade and get out, smiling at the two surfboards propped up in the sun.

Jogging over, you rip the sticky note off, excited to read where he wants you to go next.

For two, go to the place where I told you how much I hate lime

A rush of adrenaline fills you as you run back to your car, speeding down the road to the Mexican restaurant where you had your first date. He was nervous and ordered too much to drink. You didn't mind because you would've done the same. He babbled nonsense on the drive back to his house, turning to you when you had parked.

"I hate lime so much," he slurred. "But I ate it for you tonight. Lime doesn't taste that bad with you."

You had blushed and put him to bed before leaving. The next day you returned with some soup and a request for a second date.

The waiter welcomes you in with a knowing smile and a menu. You flick through, picking a card out of the alcohol section with a giggle.

Now this one wasn't hard.

A cherry blush rushes to your cheeks as you shyly walk out of the restaurant.

Your first kiss was shared behind a coffee shop. It's a funny story that you always bring up when you have nothing else to talk about.

Taehyung had asked you out and tried multiple to get his lips on yours but each time, the coffee shop had something that would interrupt him. You noticed this when his gaze dropped to his hot chocolate, smile no longer warm.

When you both decided to leave, you pulled him by his collar and pressed yourself against the wall to capture his lips in a kiss. He grunted in surprise but soon melted into it.

"Damn you," he murmured before kissing you again.

You spot the coffee shop to your right and quickly turn, parking poorly so you can get the note. It's stuck to the wall where you kissed, your hand tingling as you grab it.

You grin, driving straight for the beach again. You were swimming with him and in that moment, you felt so compelled to say something to him that would express your emotions and I love you was it. He returned it and hugged you so tightly, you thought your head would've popped.

Parking back in the same spot, you see Taehyung on the beach. You run towards him, yelling about how you did it when he drops to one knee. Your heart stops, hand trembling as it reaches to cover your mouth.

"Tae.."

"Y/N, I love you so much. We've been together for five blissful years and everyday I wonder what I did to deserve someone like you. You're the kindest, sweetest, and funniest girl I've ever met and it makes me proud to call you mine. Would you do me the honor of marrying me?"

Your eyes water up as you launch yourself into his arms. He catches you with ease, grunting at the impact. He slips the ring on your finger, kissing your hand as you admire the ring on the sand.

"I love you, Kim Y/N."

You slap him on the chest with a smile. "I love you too."
