He tilts his head to the side like a lost puppy, a dreamy smile taking over his bored expression as you enter the class. As if out of a movie, the wind hits you at the right time, your hair flowing flatteringly through the air. Your skin glows a heavenly shade of gold as the sun hits your clear skin, the bright of the light matching the energy you provide with your smile.

His knees feel weak, heart pounding at an ungodly rate.

Your smile stays intact as you scan the row of available seats, gaze just slipping past Hoseok. A giggle struggles to stay inside as you approach, placing your books beside him.

"Is it ok if I sit-"

"Yes!" He replies, shuffling over to make space for you. Shyly taking the seat, you avert your gaze to the front, missing Hoseok quickly sniffing down his shirt to make sure he doesn't smell. After a quick breath and teeth check, he shakily puts his hands in between his trembling legs.

"Hey, Hobi?" His heart leaps at the nickname. "Did you do last week's homework? I got stuck on question three."

He realises that the teacher has stopped talking and left a task on the bored to be completed. The loud chatter blends in with your words but he hangs on to each syllable.

"Uh, yeah. What did you need help with?"

You slide your book in between the two of you, leaning so close that your perfume mixes with the air, his mind instantly identifying the scents. Your shoulder brushes his as you show him the paragraph.

Clearing his throat to help him concentrate, he mutters to himself before finally explaining it to you. It takes you a while but you finally get it, thanking him profusely as he shyly brushes your thanks away.

You blush, the light pink coating your cheeks as you think about how long you've known Hoseok. Since fourth grade, you've been unable to get his contagious laugh, fluid moves and ecstatic smile out of your mind.

Why not embrace the man for who he is and let your feelings make the choices for you?

"Hobi-ah?"

"Hmm?"

"Wanna walk home with me this afternoon?"
