Your shoulders drop as you squish your stomach in between your warm hands, grimacing at the way it moulds into a weird shape. Tilting your head to the side, you study your outfit, noting how it sticks to certain parts of your outline in unflattering ways.

Body image has always been a weakness for you. It's no lie that you're slightly chubbier than those models on Instagram, every skinny bikini shot doing more and more to damage your self esteem.

You'll never look like them.

Your frown deepens as your doubtful self begins rethinking your outfit change. Before you can go too far, there's a knock at your door.

"Ali! Baby, let's go. We've been waiting for over half an hour," a whiny but deep voice rings out, slightly muffled by the door. You roll your eyes at your boyfriend's expected behaviour, sticking your tongue out at the door.

"What he means to say," a gentle and soothing voice interjects, silencing the other, "is that while we would love to give you all the time in the world to get ready, the movie starts soon and we need to get popcorn."

Giving yourself a pitiful look, you open the door, smiling unenthusiastically. Taehyung engulfs you in a hug first, pressing multiple kisses to your head before allowing Yoongi to bring you in slowly, encasing you in his warmth.

"Ready?" He mumbles, looking down at you. You nod, letting the air puff out of your cheeks. He smiles and kisses your forehead while grabbing your hand. Taehyung pouts and grabs the other, leading both you and Yoongi out the door.

"Baby," Taehyung starts innocently, shuffling over to let a family pass as you wait for the green man at the crossing, "why do you look so sad? Is something upsetting you?"

Yoongi draws himself into the conversation at the mention of you being upset. "Ali? Is there something wrong? You know you can always talk to us, right honey? We are your boyfriends after all."

They share a comical grin before smiling softly towards you. Cursing under your breath, you drag them across the road when the green man starts flashing, pulling them into the nearest alleyway.

It'd be beyond embarrassing if anyone were to hear of your issue.

"Look, I'm just not feeling too good appearance wise. I just- I don't want to be chubby anymore," you breath out, standing with your hands clasped in front of you and eyes locked on the damp concrete.

"Allison, look at me," Taehyung whispers, cupping your cheeks when you do. "By god, you are the most beautiful person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I can't even explain how much it breaks my heart to hear that you want to change."

You're close to tears when Yoongi wraps his arms around you and pulls you into his chest from behind.

"Ali, what you don't like about yourself, Taehyung and I love so dearly. We don't care about your looks at all, it's that golden heart of yours that has us falling in love with you. In fact, that gorgeous face of yours is an added bonus."

You nod shakily, feeling a smile ease onto your face.

"Feeling better or do we need to show you some other way?" Taehyung adds, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. He yelps when Yoongi slaps his hand away, giving him a disapproving look.

"Thanks. Both of you. I don't know where I'd be without either of you." Smiling happily, you kiss each on the cheek before grabbing their hands to force them to start running.

You're late for the movie.
