You impatiently pace up and down the length of your window, occasionally looking out into the dimly lit street for any sign of a hooded figure rushing towards your house. Sighing as you are left disappointed for the tenth time in the past fifteen minutes, you retreat to your bed, palming your phone to check for any new messages.
A sharp knock at your window makes you jump, your phone falling to the floor as your hands reach up to cover your mouth in an attempt to swallow the scream threatening to come out. You scowl at the hooded figure by your window, cursing him out for finding your fear amusing.
"You're an idiot," you sneer as he clambers in through your window, slipping his hood off with a relieved sigh. He turns to you with a sly smirk, looking exhausted from climbing up to your window as he approaches you with his arms wide open. You don't even hesitate in walking into his embrace, feeling at home in his hold. He rubs your back, kissing the top of your head, lips lingering there.
"Y'know, you could've just come through the door. There's no-one here to catch you," You mutter, playing with the drawstrings of his hoodie as you look up to see his face morph into one of embarrassment. He clears his throat and steps back to scratch his head, an adorable pout replacing the smile he had on while hugging you.
"Shut up. It's more romantic for me to climb through your window."
You laugh and bring him into your arms again, hugging him closer and tighter than you did before. Yoongi waddles the two of you to your bed, lowering the both of you down gently as he wraps his arms around your waist.
"I missed you today," he whispers, his breath tickling your nose. You hum in agreement, hand reaching up to brush his soft chocolate hair out of his eyes. He grabs your hand before you return it to his waist and kisses your knuckles softly, looking at you apologetically.
"It's fine," you reassure, knowing exactly what he wants to apologise for. He's done so every night for the past two months since his marriage to another woman.
"So how is that dumbass bitch?" You ask casually, flashing him a toothy yet innocent smile. He chuckles and tweaks your nose, nodding unconvincingly.
"She's still the same. Pissing me off every chance she damn gets," he sighs, rubbing at his temple. You kiss his forehead and sigh as well, offering him a small smile.
"How about your dad?"
Yoongi cracks a smile, his hand finding refuge in your hair. You take his silence as a sign that things can't be going any better than they were before with Mr. Min. You push yourself closer to him and rest your head on his chest, the familiar feeling of your time with him running out sitting uncomfortably on top of your chest.
"We should just run away," he announces, his hand pausing in your hair. You angle your head to face him, eyebrows raised in disbelief. He nods his head, eyes set in determination. You sit yourself up, lips parted in shock.
"Wait, are you being serious?" You question, giggling nervously as he, too, sits himself up with his lips pressed into a thin line.
"Dead serious. I hate having to sneak myself out every night just to see the girl that I love. Just...think about it, okay?" He explains, taking a huge breath when he's done. You nod, pulling him down by the collar of his hoodie to kiss him.
He kisses back, hand sliding up your shirt teasingly. You bite down on his lip and hum in disapproval. He sighs and removes his hand, instead tugging you back down to lay with him. You smile apologetically at him and think about his proposal.
What would you have to lose if you left? Everything you had, your home, happiness and future was with Yoongi. It could be your only chance to get both your lives back on track again.
"Hey, Yoongi?" You whisper, apologising for waking him up. He motions for you to continue, pulling your blanket up to his chin. "I think we should run away."
His gleeful smile is all it takes to tell you that things are going to be better for the two of you very soon.

SIX MONTHS LATER
"Y/N! Do we have any soy sauce?"
You emerge from your room, towel drying your hair with a content smile on your face. You walk to the kitchen chuckling at the sight of Yoongi scratching his head of newly dyed blonde hair, searching the fridge with a confused look on his face.
"Check in the pantry, baby," you offer, leaning against the counter as he snaps his fingers and turns towards the pantry, pulling out a bottle of soy sauce. Thanking you, he kisses your cheek and goes back to cooking.
You admire him for a few moments before sighing and heading towards the lounge, taking a seat on the couch and switching on the tv. The news pops up with a picture of Mr. Min, the news anchor looking serious as he explains the issue in a deep voice.
"Uh, Yoongs!" You urgently call, pausing the tv as you wait for him. Said man runs out with a spoon in one hand, looking worriedly at you. You point at the tv and press play.
"CEO of Min. Co has had a troubling few months starting with the disappearance of his son. Apparently, Mr. Min's son, Min Yoongi was forced into an arranged marriage. His wife, Jayka, says that he was always preoccupied with his at the time girlfriend whose name has not been revealed to sources and that the marriage was doomed from the beginning. She went on to say that he most likely ran off with his girlfriend but his whereabouts are unknown. She, however, is set to take over the company in place of Yoongi despite Mr. Min's backlash for the decision."
Yoongi politely asks you to switch the tv off, the cheekiest of smiles taking over his features. You watch him as he doubles over to start laughing, stumbling over to collapse on top of you in a fit of hysterical laughter.
"Serves the guy right," he manages to say, wiping at his eyes. "He's dealing with all that bullshit while I'm living in paradise with my baby." You roll your eyes and peck him on the lips, pushing him off you to get back to the kitchen.
True to his words, these past six months have been like paradise. The night after finalising your decision to run away, Yoongi had accessed his bank account and taken out a huge amount of money to pay for the house he had found in a small town near Seoul. It was far away enough from his father and everyone who knew him so he deemed it as perfect. The next week, you were both packing your belongings into the back of Yoongi's car and heading straight for Seoul.
Smiling to yourself, you glance over at Yoongi as he hums to himself, not even noticing your adoring gaze on him. You sigh, feeling beyond pleased with how things have turned out.
In all honesty, you wouldn't have had it any other way.
