HEAD IN THE CLOUDS

i always think of you when i fall asleep.
y'know, all the words you said, the way you looked, the things we laughed about and the comfortable moments of silence we shared.
and when i dream, i know that i'll dream about you.
because it's you, it's always you.

i foolishly thought i was moving on until one day, someone asked me:
"if you had one wish, what would it be?"
and the first thing that came to my mind was to waste that wish on you.

i found it thrilling to hear you say my name.
not because of the way your it (with that voice that i love so much)
or how you said it (like it might shatter on your lips).
it was thrilling, because for a second, i knew i was the only thing on your mind.
for a second, i knew i took up as much space in your thoughts as you always do in mine.

trace your gentle fingers upon this skin, constellations navigating your hands through my endless galaxy.
discover my stars and let me illuminate your vey soul.
unleash the dark energy between us and let us accelerate into the unknown.
there's too much space here—let us penetrate the heavens together.
