just thought i'd quickly let you guys know: i'm currently writing the last imagine for this book so once i'm done with that, everything will be published at once! love you all! (also i'm beyond proud of this)
YOU DID THIS
- in which your best friend ends up in hospital after an accident and the only person you can turn to just so happens to be the one person you dislike in your little trio: min yoongi
The afternoon breeze ripples across your skin gently, the soft kisses of the wind leaving goosebumps in their wake. You sigh in nothing but content and throw your head back, grinning when the pleasantly warm rays of sun caress your skin as if it were made from gold.
Attached to your side is a girl with hair so black that it could almost be mistaken for blue and eyes the colour of the deepest part of the sea that goes by the name of Jia. Her delicate giggles add a sense of familiarity to the contentment that seems to tighten a warm hug around your waist; the soft sounds creating an orchestra of pure joy.
You'd consider this moment that you're caught in to be perfect if it weren't for the deep chuckles of Min Yoongi; his almost dark laughter creating harsh notes in the midst of the sweet song you find yourself getting lost in.
And just like that, the perfectness of the day floats away with the breeze, your smile faltering into a tight lipped frown.
You tug at Jia's arm, cutting her laughter painfully short as she emits a soft gasp of surprise. Shooting her a look of apology, you link your arm through hers in an attempt to rid yourself of the gaping distance between the two of you, your head angling itself closer to hers.
"Why'd you invite Yoongi to come?" You whine, keeping your voice in a whisper so that he doesn't hear your disapproval of his presence. Only, he does momentarily flick his gaze over his shoulder at the sudden silence behind him, the corners of your lips twitching up into a smirk at his reaction.
"I know you don't particularly like him," she explains, purposely removing the word hate from her sentence purely because of the fact that she finds the word a horrible one to use, "but he is still a part of our friend group. Besides, I was hoping that a fun trip to the movies would be enough to get the two of you at least talking."
Disappointedly, she drags her gaze from Yoongi's back to your face, taking in the way your lips curl up in distaste at her wish for the two of you to get along.
"But I guess not," she sighs, rolling her eyes when you scoff dramatically and flatten a palm against your chest, your eyes widening in disbelief as you gawk at Yoongi's back.
"Never will I ever consider him as a friend," you huff, completely disregarding the fact that your voice has returned to its normal volume, meaning that he can now hear you. "He's moody, rude and impossible to put up with—"
"Yeah, well, you're no walk in the park either," Yoongi interjects, folding his arms across his chest as he stops in the middle of the footpath, raising a challenging eyebrow at you when you meet his gaze. Naturally, you tighten your hold onto Jia's arm, your own fiery gaze practically daring him to make a move.
You don't expect his rose pink lips to stretch out into a smirk in response to your silent dare.
In one swift move, he hooks his arm through Jia's free one and effortlessly pulls her into his side, suppressing his laugh with a hum at the way your mouth drops open with a gasp.
"In fact, Jia agrees with me," he snootily adds, resting his head on top of hers affectionately, "because she loves me more."
Chuckling, you grab onto her arm again and gently pull her back into your arms, sticking your tongue out childishly at him. "Impossible. She loves me more."
