Shawn Mendes Imagines Part 3 {COMPLETED}

4. For Kaylee

Earlier today I had a long and hard day at work, but then everything became better when I went to the doctor's office. My husband, Shawn Mendes, and I, have been trying to get pregnant for two months. Last week I took a pregnancy test and saw that it was positive, causing me to be ecstatic. I just wanted to go to the doctors to get it confirmed before I tell Shawn. I arrived home after the doctors appointment and saw that there was an extra car in the driveway. Huh. That's weird. I walked in the door, and Lauren, my husband's ex-girlfriend, was sitting on the couch with him and they were both laughing hysterically at something. I cleared my throat and Shawn looked at me with wide eyes.

"Hey Kaylee. What are you doing home so early?" He asked.

"I'm actually home at the time that I usually get home at. What are you doing with your ex-girlfriend?" I asked as I folded my arms across my chest.

"What so I can't be friends with her?" Shawn asked.

"That's not what I'm saying Shawn." I said.

"Then what are you saying Kaylee?" He asked.

"I'm just saying that I think that it's a little weird that you're hanging out and laughing with your ex who you haven't mentioned in forever and who you never talk to." I said.

"Well it also sounds like you don't want me being friends with her." Shawn said. I sighed.

"Whatever Shawn, I'll just take myself and my pregnant belly and go upstairs to our bedroom." I said and walked upstairs before he could say anything. I tried to shut the door so I could lock it but Shawn had run up the stairs and followed me into the room.

"What did you just say?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.

"So now you want to talk?" I asked. He ran his fingers through his hair.

"Of course I want to talk. You just said that you're pregnant with my baby, so let's talk." Shawn said. I thought for a moment before crossing my arms again.

"We're not going to talk about this while your ex is here." I said. Shawn nodded and I soon heard the front door open and shut. Shawn soon came back in the room.

"Let's talk." He said.

"I found out that I'm pregnant a week ago but I got it confirmed by the doctors today. I was going to tell you in a cute way or something when I got home but instead I told you in a fight." I said as I ran my fingers through my hair. Shawn walked over to me and hugged me. After a moment, I hugged him back. I felt tears on my shoulder.

"I'm going to be a daddy and you're going to be a mommy. Oh my gosh I can't believe this. I'm so happy honey. I'm sorry that you came home to Lauren being here, I never should have invited her over. I love you Kaylee Mendes." Shawn said as he then held my face in his hands gently. I smiled a little and nodded.

"It's okay, I forgive you. I love you too." I said, and Shawn's smile widened. We soon went to bed feeling very lucky, blessed, and happy, not only to have each other, but to have our little one too.
