A/n: Okay so this one is a bit different than what I usually do, but oh well. I feel like Shawn would still be good looking at seventy years old. Also, this is set waaaay in the future. Anyways, please enjoy this imagine. Okay, without further ado, let's begin, shall we?

"Hey Mom, what should we do to celebrate Victoria's big eighteenth birthday?" My oldest daughter, Rose, asked me.

"Well we could have all of the grandkids here and your siblings could come and we could celebrate her birthday as a family." I said. Rose nodded. My husband, Shawn Mendes, and I, are about to celebrate forty five years of marriage on the same day that our eldest grandchild, Victoria, turns eighteen.

"Okay. Where is Dad anyways?" Rose asked as Victoria walked back into the room.

"Oh he had to meet with Andrew and Josiah about something." I said. Rose nodded and Shawn walked in the door.

"Grandpa!" Victoria yelled. I smiled as I watched her run into Shawn's arms.

"Hi jelly bean. How are you?" He asked. He calls all of his grandkids jelly bean for some reason, but it's cute and they all love it.

"Good. How are you?" She asked. He smiled.

"I'm good. How's school going?" Shawn asked as he sat down. For a seventy year old man, he still looks good. But I'm his wife, so then again maybe I'm biased. Victoria sat next to Shawn.

"Good. Next month is the end of the school year. Are we going to go to the summer house this year?" Victoria asked. Shawn nodded.

"That's the plan." He said. After mine and Shawn's oldest child, Sarah, graduated from high school, Shawn and I decided that we wanted a summer home, so we have our house in Massachusetts, and then a house in Maine, big enough for plenty of kids and grandkids to visit. I still remember when we bought it so many years ago - twenty two years ago.

"What do you think of this one babe? It seems big enough." Shawn asked and said. We were sitting in his office on one of those real estate websites. I leaned forward and looked at his laptop.

"It looks good. Does it show more pictures of it?" I asked. Shawn nodded.

"Yeah." He said.

"How much is it?" I asked nervously. Shawn checked and my eyes widened.

"Almost three million dollars, but we can afford it." Shawn said. I sighed and Shawn looked at me.

"Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded and kissed the top of my head.

"Yup. Should we request a private showing?" He asked.

"Well let's find out more about it." I said. He nodded.

"There's ten bedrooms, six full bathrooms, one half bathroom, five fireplaces, 2.3 acres of land, four garage spaces, a deck, a patio with a screened in porch, a security system, separate three bedroom guest quarters, and it's a short stroll away from Perkins Cove in Ogunquit." Shawn said. My eyes widened.

"Shawn, it sounds perfect." I said. He nodded.

"I know. Should we request a private showing?" He asked. I thought for a moment.

"Are you absolutely positive that we can afford both that house and this one?" I asked. Shawn nodded.

"Yup." He said. I nodded.

"Okay. Let's do it." I said. We requested a private showing, and when we got there and toured the beautiful house, Shawn and I immediately said yes. Soon, we were the proud owners of two houses.
