138. Car Surprises

I sighed as I got in my car. Today is my first day back to school since my fiancé, the singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes, left to go back on tour. For my birthday this year, he remembered the fact that my car had been acting up and that I had said that I liked Jeeps and Range Rovers, so one of my birthday presents from him was a white Jeep. He has a black Jeep, and he explained that he didn't want to get me a black one like his, because if we have two black Jeeps in the driveway, we'll get confused.

I buckled up and then started the car. I sighed again when I realized that I had forgotten to put on some makeup. I opened the visor that's above my head a little so I could look in the mirror, and a note written on a napkin fell out. I read the note that was in Shawn's handwriting.

"You're beautiful. Stop looking in the mirror. Hope this makes you smile. Love, your man." Shawn had written. Tears formed in my eyes. How did I get so lucky. I realized that I had some time before I really did have to leave, so I turned off the car and called Shawn. He soon picked up and said hello.

"You are the most amazing man ever, did you know that?" I asked.

"Why are you crying my love?" Shawn asked.

"I found the note that you left in my car telling me to stop looking in the mirror. I needed that. Thank you Shawn. Do you mind if I post about it on my Instagram?" I asked. Shawn chuckled.

"You're welcome my love, and no I don't mind. I have to go but I'll talk to you later, okay darling?" Shawn asked.

"Okay. I love you so much Shawn." I said.

"I love you too darling." Shawn said, and we hung up. I then started a live stream on Instagram.

"Hi guys. So usually I do live streams with Shawn, but he's back on tour. If you're wondering why I'm crying, it's because Shawn Peter Raul Mendes is the most amazing man ever. I got in my car this morning and realized that I wasn't wearing any makeup, so I went to see how I looked. I pulled down the little sun visor thing and this note came out." I said and then held up the note before reading what it says. "I swear, I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I have to leave for school soon but I have some time right now."

Shawnmendes: I love you baby.

"Oh my gosh Shawn is watching! Babe I thought that you said that you were busy? I love you honey. You make me happier than I've ever been in my whole life. Oh, I should get going. Shawn, I'll call you when I get home baby. I love you Shawn. Bye guys!" I said, and then ended the live stream. I'm so lucky to have Shawn and his little surprises.
