"I'm sorry I just can't believe you knocked her out." I smirked to myself and pulled into the driveway. Between the two of us Lauren and I put Mae on the couch. "I should probably leave in case she wakes up, just convince her it was a dream." I nodded and kissed her. The kiss was sweet and innocent but I couldn't help myself and let it get deeper. My lips traveled from Lauren's down to her neck. She moaned a bit when I kissed the sweet spot on her neck, I let myself get carried away and pulled away to a big red mark on her. I smiled.

"Have fun covering that up," I joked. Lauren gave me a quick smack on the shoulder and left. I followed and watched her until she walked into her house to make sure she was safe. I then dragged Mae up the stairs to my room but all the tumbling woke her up.

"Sandra what the fuck are you doing." I turned around and looked towards the floor where Mae was laying upside-down on the stair steps. I quickly thought of a lie not caring whether she'd believe it or not.

"We were having a movie night after school and you knocked out on me dude, way to have a good friends night in." Mae looked genuinely confused but got herself up. She walked into the restroom and I went to my room. Lauren called and was asking about Mae, a few minutes later she walked in. Quickly I switched the screen off but didn't end the call. I looked at her leaning against the door way.

"Hey, you good?" I asked. Mae smiled and sat next to me on the bed.

"Yeah I'm all good I just have a few questions I need you to answer." I cautiously nodded my head and watched her every movement.

"Ok, ask." Mae moved to the center of the bed in front of me and crossed her legs.

"Alright for one, I want to know why you hit me so hard?, two why didn't you tell me you were dating Ms. James?, and three do you really not trust me enough to tell me cause that really hurts." I was taken aback and wondered why I didn't hit her harder maybe then she'd of forgotten.

"Ok look, I'm sorry I didn't tell you but this isn't something I could just drop on you, and I hit you because I panicked when I saw the realization set in. I was scared something might break us up and I really care about her I don't want her fired" Mae scooted closer to me on the bed. She hugged me and her body warmth was nice I hadn't noticed I had been shivering.

"I have more questions," she laughed. I laughed to and told her to ask away. "Do you really like her or is this some experimental thing.?" I wanted to tell her I loved Lauren but I didn't know if it was too soon we'd only been dating a few weeks. However my feelings for that woman were through the roof. I also knew that anything that had been said thus far was heard by Lauren, I didn't end the call and it was still going.

"I do really like her, I'm crazy about her she's so perfect in an imperfect way. I've never felt this way about anyone before but when it comes to her the sun shines brighter my smile is wider and life is great. I am so head over heels for her Mae it's crazy." Mae started squealing but soon settled down

"Ok, one more question," she said. "When did your feeling start?" I let out a small laugh.

"That started the first ever moment I laid my eyes on her."

"Oh my god this is so cuuuuute," Mae said. The rest of the night was spent talking about Lauren and I but when Mae finally fell asleep I lunged for my phone. The call was still connected and I brought it to my ear.

"Babe you there?" No response came, I checked the time to see how late it was. She was asleep and for some reason I found that adorable. Laying next to make I fell asleep to the sound of my ceiling fan.

"GET UP YOU LAZY ASSHOLE!!,"Mae yelled at the top of her lungs. I grabbed my pillow and pulled it over my head refusing to get up. Mae grabbed my ankles and dragged me down stairs. Jesus these steps really do hurt like a bitch. I was groggy,my hair was everywhere, and all I had on was a hoodie.

"What do you want Mae?,"I yawned. She ran into the kitchen and walked out with plates stacked with food. "I love you." She laughed.

"I'm starting your birthday celebration early since its only two days away." Oh crap she's right I'm almost 18. "I am so going to throw you a party and invite everyone." I nodded while stuffing my face with pancakes. After breakfast I went upstairs to put some jeans on and a simple white shirt. I didn't really like this shirt though because you could see my bra but the ride to Mae's house was fast. Grabbing coffee we left on the table we ran out to the car and hopped in.

"So, where does your girlfriend live?,"she asked in a teasing tone. I pulled down the street to Lauren's house. We took a quick drive by and were looking out towards her house when Mae yelled. "WATCH OUT!" I turned quick enough to hit the breaks. The coffee I had in my hand spilled all over my shirt and it was literally burning me alive. The asshole in front of us sped off fast.

"Fuck this coffee is hot,"I said. It was sticking to my shirt and I couldn't take the heat. Pulling off my shirt, I bundled it up and used the dry parts to dab off coffee on my stomach.

"Well, this is a treat," Mae joked as she watched my from the passenger seat.

"Let's just get to your house so I don't get a ticket for public nudity or something." We went off and reached her house in no time. Once there Mae let me borrow a shirt and said she'd see me Monday. On the drive home I decided to go to Lauren's house. I pulled up and rang her doorbell. She opened the door and I literally melted when she smiled at me, we walked over to her couch and out a movie in. Scooting closer to me Lauren rested her head on my chest and started smelling me. She sat up giving me a confused look.

"Coffee," I said. "Don't ask." She laughed at me.

"You know, the last time I checked it was a drink not a perfume." I nudged her a little for her smart remark and then held her closer. Start to a good weekend.
