(A/N: So there's a time gap here, and then there's a huge one at the end of the chapter.)

I walked down to the Bifrost with Loki on my right and Thor to my left. I took both of their hands in mine, as I knew I wouldn't be back for a very, very long time. I had already said my goodbyes to Frigga and the AllFather. As we reached the end of the bridge, Heimdall came out to meet us. I let go of the boys' hands and ran to him. I hugged the armor-clad man so hard that he had to take a step back from my blow.

"I'll still be here when you get back, Y/N. You won't be gone forever."

"I know, but.......I-I'm gonna miss you Heimdall."

I turned to the boys. They smiled down at me as if they'd never see me again. I reached up and hugged Thor.

"Come back soon, Y/N."

I nodded and turned to Loki. I hugged him tighter than I had Thor and Heimdall.

"Thankyou." I whispered.

"For what?" He whispered back.

"For everything," I broke into tears. "For showing me the library, for showing me the garden...." I trailed off. Thor came to my back and hugged the both of us. I wrapped one of my arms around each of them. "I'm going to miss you guys," I sobbed, "So...so much."

"I know....I know.." They told me.

"It's gonna be okay. You'll be back in no time, Y/N." Thor told me.

I collected myself and slowly released myself from my best friends' grasp. I stood before Heimdall.

"Are you ready, Little One?"

I nodded and sniffled, "I think so."

The golden dome hummed with energy as the Bifrost opened. I took a step towards it.

I turned on my heel and bolted into the arms of Loki. I pulled away quickly, though.

"The sun will shine on us again," I smiled at them, "I promise."

I turned and walked into the Bifrost.

Here goes nothing.

As I traveled through the Bifrost, I thought about what Frigga had told me of the years to come. There was a young couple living on Earth that were more than happy to take me in while I went to school. There were a few rules though, I wouldn't be able to leave Earth until I had finished my schooling. The couple I was to live with had been "convinced", more like brainwashed, to think that I was their child. Yes, their actually living breathing offspring that they created themselves. Unbelievable. Frigga said that I needed to act like I was their child; I had to obey them, let them punish me, spoil me, etc, and surprisingly, I was allowed to use my magic. All of it.

Now that I was standing on the doorstep of my own "house" I felt fine. I looked down at the small house key in my hand. I could do this. It was August 31st. Which meant I only had to spend the night before I left for Hogwarts. I'd be okay. I had B/F/N. I could befriend that blonde-haired boy I saw in Diagon Alley, and perhaps Harry Potter.....

I took a deep breath and shoved the key in the lock.
