"Get him to the healing room!" Thor barked, "Leave my brother to me."
Volstagg and Fandral picked up Heimdall as Hogun carried me to the healing room. The healers fixed me within moments as they had given me a sort of elixir. I smiled at Heimdall reassuringly as I left.
I hope he's okay.
Walking out into the night air, I saw the Bifrost start up and Thor flying with Mjolnir to it.
Loki's going to destroy Jotunheim!
We have to stop him!
Give me all the energy you've got!
With pleasure.
I began to run down the bridge at full speed. I saw Thor try to destroy Loki's work, but Loki pushed him back with the staff. I stopped running as I felt hundreds of frost giants yelling out in fear and terror as their planet began to explode. As I walked up to the Bifrost, I heard Thor yelling.
"I will not fight you, Brother!"
To which Loki responded, "I'm not your brother. I never was."
"Loki this is madness!" Thor told him.
"Is it madness? Is it? Is it?" Loki jeered, "Come on what was it on Earth that made you so...soft?! Don't tell me it was that woman!" He continued, "Oh, it was! Well maybe when we're finished, I'll pay her a visit myself!"
Thor lunged towards him, and the boys began to fight. I ran forward to the entrance.
"Loki!" I yelled. "Stop this now! Don't do this!"
"And why not?" He laughed evilly, standing as Thor shook his head at me.
"It's no good. I have to fight him. Stay out of the way."
Should I do it now?
Yeah. Do it, Pull the card.
"If you love me, you won't do this. Loki, end this now. Do not kill these innocent people."
"Love you?" He scoffed. "Did you really think I ever loved you?"
Something inside of me snapped as he continued.
"You? The warrior more powerful than she cares to admit? No. I merely needed you on my side. Out of the way. Surely you understand that?" He mocked.
I walked briskly to him. I plunged my hand into his chest, enchanting his heart as I ripped it from him. I held the glowing red object in my hand as Loki fell to his knees, staring at me in horror. I squeezed it slightly as he fell to his hands and knees in pain. I took a step backwards.
"Get. Up." I told him, a nice, menacing pause between each word.
He stood warily and I motioned for him to watch me as I backed out of the dome. He took a few steps, following me until I squeezed the heart again, telling him to stop. With his heart in my right hand, I backed to the edge of the side of the bridge. I hung my left arm over the side of the bridge.
"So, If you never actually loved me, then I can only assume I won't be needing this?"
I shook my hand, and the ring fell from my finger into the waterfall. I watched the glittering object descend into the nothingness of space, and a grin spread across my face as I looked back up at Loki. He was hiding it well, but I knew he hadn't meant what he said; I didn't know why he was doing it, but I didn't like it. I could see the pain in his eyes from my actions.
I walked back over to him and plunged his heart back where it belonged. Loki fell to his knees again as I stepped back. Thor ran towards him, but Loki turned and blocked the attack. I tried to pull Thor away from Loki. He wasn't the main problem at the moment.
Mjolnir pounded into my stomach, knocking me through the air and down the Bifrost, rendering me unable to move from shock.
