I awoke wrapped in blankets on a huge and luxurious four-poster canopy bed. The dark colored wood was contrasted by sheer white curtains draped over-top and across the bed. I rolled onto my side out of habit, then realized that I wasn't in pain. I sat up slowly and carefully, not knowing where I was. The large bedroom I was in was covered in red and white lines. Against the wall on either side of the bed was a small loveseat, upon which armor was stacked. On the side closest to me was my armor. Neatly laid out and clean. On the other couch lay what looked like Loki's armor. I slipped off the bed, shedding the blankets to reveal a black long-sleeved nightgown.
Anti?.......Anti? Hello?
With no response from her, I descended the steps in front of the raised sleeping space. A large, dark, and steamy hot tub sat to my right, and a large shelving unit lined with alcohol sat to my left. A table with several velvet chairs rested not far in front of the unit. An open doorway stood in the center of the wall opposite the bed. The hallway beyond it was empty and very short, turning to the side with a jolt and continuing on. A closed-off room to the left of the steaming pool showed light from beneath the door. I supposed it was a bathroom of sorts.
I turned to my left to see a large window with an even larger sill beneath it, large enough for a person to sit on either end. I walked over towards it, pressing my hands gently against the cool windowsill.
"Where am I?" I wondered aloud, my gaze falling over the colorful trash-ridden city beneath me.
"Sakaar," A silky voice said from behind me.
I turned to see Loki leaned against the bathroom doorway, shirtless, might I add. His hair and bare shoulders were damp, as if he'd just finished with a shower. He uncrossed his arms and tossed a towel back into the bathroom, He ran his fingers through his hair, pulling it back and away from his face.
I pulled myself up to sit on the windowsill, confusion brewing in my mind.
"Something troubling you?" He asked, pulling a dark green button-down onto his form.
"How did we even get here? We were in the Bifrost, weren't we?"
"You don't remember?" Loki sat down next to me.
"Should I?"
"I suppose not, it was quite a fall."
"Tell me?" I asked.
"Hela pushed us from the Bifrost. We fell to this place, this....colorful wasteland. You were awake for a moment after the fall, but you fell back under soon after."
"I suppose I have a knack for falling unconscious." I chuckled briefly.
He stared at me blankly for a moment before continuing on, "This place is filled with scavengers, scrappers. I've charmed the city's leader into letting us stay."
"What was the cost?"
"Thanks to my silver tongue," He smirked, "We're staying here in complete luxury free of any charge."
"If it's a place of scavengers, I don't like the sound of luxury."
"You needn't worry," Loki turned my chin to him with a finger, "I've given a rather good excuse."
"Which was?" I pulled my face back from his hand.
He studied my face for a moment as if he was worried for my reaction.
"Everyone here is under the impression that we are a newly wed couple on our honeymoon."
"What?!" I stood up abruptly, throwing my hands in the air. "A fake honeymoon? That's the best you could come up with?! You couldn't try to-"
