I stood by Sif as Thor egged the crowd to cheer for him as he approached the Allfather. Thor kneeled at the base of the stairs, set Mjolnir on the golden floor, and removed his helmet. The Allfather knocked his staff on the floor, gaining silence from the large crowd.

"Thor, Odinson, My heir, My firstborn. So long entrusted with the mighty hammer, Mjolnir, Forged in the heart of a dying star. Its power has no equal. It's a weapon to destroy, or is a tool to build. 'Tis a fit companion for a king."

I began to space out, as this was incredibly boring. Thor spoke, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"I swear."

"And do you swear to preserve the peace?"

"I swear."

"Do you swear to cast aside all selfish ambition and to pledge yourself only to the good of the realm?"

"I swear!"

"Then on this day, I Odin Allfather, proclaim you-" The Allfather stopped, "The Frost Giants!"

He knocked the staff on the ground again, and made his way around the back of the throne. Thor and Loki began to follow him. Loki grabbed my wrist, motioning for me to come too. I followed the three of them through the castle. Soon, we reached the weapons vault. We walked in slowly, inspecting the damage and the frost-bitten floor. Two guards lay dead on the floor, as well as several frost giants.

"The Jotuns must pay for what they have done." Thor growled.

"They already have paid. With their lives." Odin stood in front of the Casket.

I bent down to a guard's body and gently laid my hand on his forehead, using the force to sense for life. Nothing. Loki laid his hand on my shoulder and gave me a sorrowful look, "It's too late Y/N. They're dead." His eyes told me. I nodded slowly and stood.

"The Destroyer did its work. The Casket is safe, and all is well."

"All is well?" Thor asked profusely, "They broke into the weapons vault! If the Frost Giants had stolen even one of these relics-"

"But they didn't." The Allfather said.

"Well, I want to know why!" Thor growled.

Loki and I exchanged glances and looked over at Thor. Are you kidding me?

"I have a truce with Laufey, King of the Jotuns."

"He just broke your truce!" Thor stated. "They know you are vulnerable."

"What action would you take?" The Allfather asked, his tone slightly softened.

"March into Jotunheim, as you once did. Teach them a lesson. Break their spirits, and they'll never dare try crossing our borders again."

"You are thinking only as a warrior."

"This was an act of war!" I glanced at Loki again, slightly worried of how this was going to go.

"This was an act of but a few, doomed to fail."

"Look how far they got!" Thor motioned towards the room.

"We will find the breach in our defense, and it will be sealed."

"As King of Asgard-" Thor began.

"But you're not King!" Odin raised his voice, "Not yet."
