An hour or so passed before I finally brought myself to put on a dress and leave my room. I put on the same dress as the night before and made my way to my door. As I passed the small table near the couch, there was something sitting there. Something I hadn't expected; There was even a note. It was a box; a square one, and it was slightly larger than a shoe box. The wood was a beautiful mahogany, the same color as my hair. I picked up the piece of parchment lying on top. I immediately recognized the delicate handwriting and swoopy letters as I read the note.

In hopes you'll find this rather useful,

Loki

I slowly undid the clasp on the box and gently opened it. I gasped rather loudly, and I pulled the glittering object from its case.

"Loki, you didn't!" I giggled

"Loki, you didn't!" I giggled. I went to the bathroom and slipped it into my hair. The new addition to my outfit looked as though it was always meant to be there. I giggled again and made my way to the library.

Quickly, I found a book, and soon I had found a place to read. As my mind became lost in the words and the story seeped into my brain, hours passed. When I finally looked up, I realized that I had no idea how long I had been gone. I shut my book, as I had finished it, and I grabbed another as I made my way out of the library.

As I passed the courtyard, I saw that night had already fallen. I quickly went to my room and changed to my old Jedi Robes. They made it so much easier for me to concentrate, though I did leave the cloak off. I sat cross-legged on the floor and began to meditate. I reached out into the Force for Thor. I wanted to see him; I wanted to know that my best friend was okay. I became confused, as I saw not only Thor, but Loki too. As I listened to their conversation, I realized that Loki was trying to dampen Thor's spirits so that he felt that he had no hope of returning. Loki told him not only that Odin was dead, but also that Frigga had forbidden his return.

If the Allfather does not awaken, and Thor doesn't return, then Loki will continue to hold the throne..., I thought.

I opened my eyes, pulling myself from the Force as I did so. I changed back to my dress, heels and crown, but as I picked up my book, I heard my communicator. The one I used in the Jedi Order. The thing that Master Yoda told me would call if they needed me was beeping.

I walked over to it, book in hand, and answered the call, setting it on the floor. A life-sized hologram of the Jedi Council appeared around me. I glanced around the room at the masters before turning to Master Yoda and Master Windu.

"I take it you need something?" I smirked. "I'm a bit busy at the moment."

"There's a threat to the new war-"

"New War? Didn't we...I thought we just finished one?"

Master Windu sighed, "Y/N, there is a clone army being built for the Republic on the planet Kamino. It's in the Outer Rim. Master Sifo-Dyas put in the Order, but we don't know why. Master Kenobi has done all the undercover work he can."

I glanced over at him, Huh. New Haircut.

"We need you to use your shape-shifting abilities to dig deeper."

"Masters, I can't leave this place, not now."

I could feel the surprise in the room around me as Master Yoda spoke again.

"A Jedi, you are. Help us, you should. Family, we are."

"Yes, of course. I want nothing more than to assist with the war efforts, but I have responsibilities here. I cannot leave while those still need taken care of."

"A sovereign, you are?"

I nodded.

"What has happened to the Allfather?" Ki Adi Mundi asked.

"Odinsleep." I said, "Thor was exiled not long before. Now, Loki has become king until either Odin awakens or...doesn't, I suppose." I didn't mean to, but I use my hands when I talk, so they noticed the engagement ring on my finger.

"You're engaged." Master Windu said, "You've become Queen."

"Yes," I paused, "Yes I have. I cannot lie to you, Master Yoda, I'm really enjoying having this different life." I laughed, "Here, I don't feel like I have to push all of my emotions away." I tried to explain, "I can experiment with my abilities and be more than a soldier. I've learned things that Jedi haven't been heard to do."

"Turned to the Dark Side, have you?"

"No, Master. Of course not, never the Dark Side." I told him, "I'm on a different path now." I paused, "I cannot aid with the war efforts, I'm sorry."

With that, I ended the hologram.

Obi-Wan P.o.V

"We should not have let her leave, Master." I told the green Jedi, "She will not return."

"I agree." Master Windu told the Council. "We'll have to approach this differently. From such a distance, receiving even transmissions from Master Y/N will take hours at a time. I do not think we have that kind of time to wait for assistance, if any is to come. We must assume to receive no help from her."

Then, I heard her voice in my thoughts, through the Force, she said,

"It'll actually take about five minutes to send a transmission, but I'm a little busy."
