I set my book on the small glass table as I turned to face Loki. I walked inside and immediately hugged him without taking a second glance at his face. I could feel his breath hitch with each breath, and he was clutching to me as if he was going to lose me.

"Loki, what happened?"

"I.....I'm not entirely sure that I feel well, Y/N."

I pulled away from him, "Here Love, sit." I motioned to the couch, and I steered him towards it.

"No, Y/N, I have to tell you something. It's....It's important, and I-I-"

I pushed him backwards, his hair and the rest of him slightly disheveled on my couch. Before he had time to recover, I plopped down beside him, taking both of his hands and looking him in the eyes.

"Loki, I'm listening."

He took a deep breath as I wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Father has fallen into the Odinsleep. And....I-I....there's something else." His breath hitched again and he didn't speak for a while.

I kissed his cheek and nestled my head into the crook of his shoulder, "Darling, you know you can tell me anything."

He took a deep breath and stared off into the wall behind me. "When we were fighting on Jotunheim, one of the giants ripped the armor from my hand and forearm and gripped it..." He paused, "It should've hurt me, it should've burned my arm, Y/N, but it didn't. It....The touch did something else to me." He stopped.

"Loki, what happened?"

"My skin began to turn blue. And I-I-I went to the weapons vault, that's what I had to ask Father. He-He told me.......I....I....I'm one of them! I'm Laufey's son! Y/N, I-I'm a monster!" He began to shake with sobs forming in his chest. He quickly got up from the sofa, pulling away from me and backing away, never taking his eyes off of me. I stood up, trying to soothe him.

"Loki, No you aren't! You aren't a monster!-"

"Yes! Yes I am!" He backed further away from me, now crying and trembling and shaking with sobs, "Please, I don't want to hurt you!" He hit the wall.

I ran to him, not caring for his protests. I hugged him, hoping that I could hug all of his broken pieces back together. I pulled away from him and prevented him from moving by putting my arms against the wall on either side of him, "Loki. You listen to me." I told him, "Loki," He looked down. "Loki Laufeyson, Look at me!" His eyes snapped up to meet mine, "I don't care what you are or how many people you've killed or done horrible things to. I love you! Being a Jotun isn't a bad thing! They aren't monsters! And neither are you!" I pleaded with him, "Don't push me away, Loki. Don't shut me out. Don't shut Frigga out; please, let us help you!" My breath became shaky and my sight became glossy and clouded.

At those words, he seemed to come back to himself a little bit. His tears stopped coming, and so did mine as he reached up and wiped the water from his wet eyes and cheeks. He smiled down at me and embraced me as if I was the only thing that could ever make him happy. Loki suddenly scooped me up bridal-style and walked over to the couch. He set me down gently and sat down beside me, seemingly calmed a bit. He took both of my hands and kissed me gently.

"Then with all of the events that have taken place today, my emotions are as disorganized as a young child's mind."

"It sounds to me, like what you need right now is a bit of a psychologist."

"What is it you suggest," Loki eyed me mischievously, "Doctor? Or perhaps, your diagnosis?"

"Hmmm..." I pretended to think with a huge smile on my face, "I may have to check your symptoms." He laughed briefly and raised his eyebrow at me.

I stood up in front of him and lightly smacked my hand on his forehead, surprising him. I removed it and kissed him gently. He reached up and cupped my face just behind my jawbone as he kissed me back, hungrily, needily, as if he hadn't kissed me in years. I pulled away from him.

"Well, I think that about sums up my report." I smiled.

"What chronic disease have I contracted, Doctor?"

"Hmm...." I chuckled, "It's a really long word that I'm afraid I can't pronounce, but it means 'lack of cuddles'."

"Oh noo!" Loki laughed, "Not that! Whichever vitamins am I lacking to have contracted such a disease?" He said, thinking I wouldn't come up with something.

"I'd say you have had plenty of vitamins, Darling, "He sighed playfully, "You have enough Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Vitamin A....and however many more there are. BUT, I'm afraid you don't have enough of one! It's terribly tragic!"

"What!" He exclaimed playfully, "Which one am I missing?"

"You need more Vitamin Me!" I began to laugh hysterically and fell beside him on the couch.

"Oh, Sure!" He pulled himself more on top of me and began tickling me senseless, "Some Doctor you are!"

I laughed, wheezing now between my excessive laughing and lack of breath, "Wait!!! Please! STAHP I BEG OF YOU!!!!" I mustered between fits of laughter as he continued to tickle my stomach and sides, "You don't have a cure yet!"

"Oh, and what would that be?" He laughed.

I wrestled with his hands until he gave in long enough for me to say something, "You need to undergo an excruciatingly long period of cuddles!"

He sighed playfully as I continued, "Doctor's Orders!"

He smiled down at me and connected his lips with mine. Soon, I found the strength to flip us over. Loki broke away from me, surprised.

"Shut up." I whispered into his lips as I continued to kiss him. Suddenly he flipped us over again.

"Ha." He taunted.

Knock, Knock, Knock.

Loki looked over at the door, slightly annoyed, but crawled off of me and went to the door where a guard was standing.

"The Queen requests your presence at the Allfather's bedside."
