My eyes fluttered open as I remembered what all had occurred in the night before. It wasn't a dream!  I was lying on my side, and from the looks of the purple-navy beams coming through the balcony doors, the sun was just beginning to rise. I glanced down at the floor where miscellaneous clothes were strewn about.  I went to move, but was stopped by the arm wrapped around my stomach and the face buried in my neck beneath the sheet. I couldn't even move to see what time it was. After several failed attempts to roll over, I gave up and just laid there, doomed to wait until Loki woke up.

I watched the colors on the floor slowly turn to orange as the sun began to rise. Soon, the colors faded and all that was left was pure light shining through the windows. I felt Loki's breathing pattern change and his grip around me loosen a bit as he woke up.

"mmmmmmmmm.........." He breathed, smiling lightly against my skin.

I slowly managed to roll over to him as he propped himself up on his elbow.

"Good Morning, Darling." He whispered, his voice hoarse.

"Morning, Babe," I answered sleepily as I laid my head on his bare chest. He rested his chin on the top of my head as I pulled the sheet tighter around my naked body.

"It's cold." I mumbled.

Loki pulled the blankets further up over me so that it was up to my shoulders and kissed my forehead.

"Thanks...." I mumbled. "Last night was amazing."

"Can you walk?"

"I think so..." I mumbled.

"Then I suppose we'll have to come back this afternoon and-"

I pulled myself up to his eye level. "We could just do it now," I teased, poking his chest.

He chuckled lightly, "Darling, as much as I want to stay here with you, I need to go down to the throne room."

I wrapped my arms around him, "mmmmmmmno."

"Cupcake, I have to. I'm the king now, remember?"

I pulled away from him and thumped my head face-first into a pillow, "Fine...." I sighed, my voice muffled by the pillow.

I heard him get up and go into the bathroom. I got out of bed, and as I used magic to make the bed, I pulled my MCR band shirt from the floor and threw it on as well as my underwear and leggings. I went over to the couch where Loki's armor was messily strewn about. I grinned at the green lace-up shirt he was wearing under his armor and quickly swapped it with the shirt I was wearing. His cape and helmet caught my eye. I put the helmet on and wrapped myself in his cape.

Gee, I bet I look great between the green shirt and the loud patterned leggings.

I went over and sat on the bed with my legs folded in "criss-cross-applesauce" and wrapped the green fabric around me

I went over and sat on the bed with my legs folded in "criss-cross-applesauce" and wrapped the green fabric around me. The helmet is not as heavy as I thought...... Just then, the bathroom door opened and Loki walked out with his hair once again brushed back. Not gelled or sleeked back, just brushed back enough so it wasn't in his eyes. I guessed that he had grabbed his pants on the way in because now he was wearing them. He looked over at me and smiled as he walked over.

"You're going to do everything in your power to ensure that I won't leave, aren't you, Cupcake?"

"Yes. Yes I am."

He bent down and kissed me before slowly taking the helmet off my head. He went over and set it down with his armor before realizing,

"Y/N, Where's my shirt?"

I looked at him innocently and shrugged my shoulders, unable to hold back the smile creeping onto my face, "I don't know."

He grinned at me and picked up the MCR shirt, showing it to me, "I think you do."

"I think I don't."

"Y/N......" He groaned playfully, "Can I have it back?"

I opened his cape a bit to reveal the shirt, "I don't know, Can you?"

"I believe I can, Y/N. Would you mind bringing it to me?"

"Come and get it." I taunted him.

He came over and peeled the shirt from me, handing me my shirt. I stood up and reluctantly handed him the cape as he put his own shirt back on.

"Mmmmm, It's all nice and warm now." He smiled.

"Will you shut up and get back to your stupid throne room, like you so desperately needed to." I laughed and pushed him back a bit as he put the rest of his armor on. I "helped" him with some of the armor, but tragically, I only slowed him down, so he had to stay longer.

I picked up his helmet from the now empty couch, "I'm afraid you'll be needing this too?"

He looked down at it, before taking it from me and setting it on the small table, "Leave it here, I have another in my chambers."

I reached up, and hugged him and kissed him. "Now Go!" I pushed him away playfully, "They were expecting you back at Dawn!"

Loki smiled at me, kissed me again, and left the room, shutting the door behind him.
