Y/N P.o.V.
As Loki brushed through my tangled, matted hair, I thought about what was going to happen to us. Today, the guards were supposed to take me from the dungeons, but I didn't know when. I adjusted my bare feet in their cross-legged position and sighed.
I'll never see him again after today...A few weeks ago I would've given anything to never see him again...Now, I'm not so sure...
"All done." Loki said from behind me, fluffing my hair.
I turned slightly to him.
"It's not perfect, but it's the best I could do."
"Thanks." I smiled softly.
"Would you mind if I tried to braid it?"
"I didn't know you could braid." I said questioningly, turning more towards him.
He glanced down at his hands as he set the brush on the bedside table, "My mother taught me...I'm not very good, I'm afraid."
I turned back around, "Well, it isn't exactly easy. It takes practice."
Loki wrapped his arms around my stomach and rested his chin on my left shoulder.
"So can I?"
I leaned my head onto his, "Of course."
He moved back behind me and ran his fingers through my hair as he began to part it. Soon, I felt four hands separating and braiding my hair, and I realized that he was using one of his illusions to help him.
Not such a bad idea actually...
After what seemed like an eternity of sitting there while he twisted and gently tugged at my hair, he removed his hands.
"There. I'm finished."
I reached up and ran my fingers over the Half-up-Half-Down braid, expecting something simple. My fingers skidded over braid after braid until they reached the tips of my hair.
"Can I see it?"
He handed me a mirror and angled a smaller mirror over the braid so that I could see it.
I gasped.
