"So that was him?" Loki asked as I shoved the communicator in my pocket.

"Yeah...." I sighed.

"What is it?" He asked, concerned.

"I don't know.....I just don't know if I really want to leave Asgard. Don't get me wrong, I adore traveling and doing missions, but I wouldn't be able to come back."

"And why not?"

"He made me an offer. He's a celestial, you see. He thinks I may have the celestial gene, but we don't know for sure. He wants me to help him with his planet, and I only have three days to decide."

He was silent for a minute.

"I know this won't help much, but there has been an agreement."

I looked at him, puzzled, then switched sides to sit next to him. "Oh?"

He glanced over at Thor, "It was decided that when we return I will be granted freedom from my cell. I...." He took a deep breath, "...I was hoping I could...we could...It's difficult to explain."

"I get it." I smiled softly.

"Oh, she smiles!" He chuckled.

"Crazy as it is, it happens once in a while."

"Hey," He said softly, setting his hand gently on mine, "It's going to be okay. Don't worry."

"I'm not worried." I responded quickly.

"Yes you are." He took my hand, "I can hear it in your thoughts."

"Oh right,"

"The mind thing," We said together, chuckling.

"Don't do it." He smiled, reading my thoughts.

"Do what?" I asked innocently.

"You know precisely what I-" I cut him off by placing my helmet over his head.

"You look great." I laughed.

I heard him chuckle from the inside of the helmet as I fluffed the ends of his curly dark hair over his shoulders.

"Your hair looks good curly." I said, "I need to know what you use, it smells amazing."

He laughed, "It's Asgardian," His voice came slightly muffled, "Mother found it for me."

"Sorry, that was just so random." A giggle escaped my lips as I pulled the helmet back over his head. I set it on the bench behind me.

"It's quite stuffy in there," He told me.

"That's why I don't really like to wear it." I smiled at him, "Can't breathe....Can't see....." A smirk spread across my face.

"No." He told me sternly.

"Can't touch this....Ba ba ba ba bam ba ba na ba ba na."

He looked away from me, laughing at my goofiness. A moment of silence passed as our eyes locked, the smiles still on our faces.

"Norns, I've missed you." He said softly.

"I missed you too," I told him, closing my eyes and bringing my forehead to his.

We stayed like that for what seem like hours. I brought my hand up and cupped his cheek and the back of his neck. He nuzzled the side of his face into my hand.

I pecked his lips with a soft, "I love you."

"I know," He smiled gently, pulling away from me. He brought his cuffed hands over my head and brought them to rest just above the small of my back. He pulled me into a hug, nestling his face in my neck. "Come here," He whispered.

"Ahem," Thor cleared his throat after a few minutes, "I hate to separate you, but...we're here."

As Thor and Jane made their way towards the cliff side, Loki turned at the edge of the ship.

"Y/N I don't want you to come." He told me as I stepped out.

"What?" I asked him, "Are you crazy? No way, of course I'm-"

He cut me off with a kiss.

"Shh Darling," He whispered as I pulled away from him, "Please, just trust me." He whispered, almost pleading, "I don't want you to get hurt."

"Then you can't go either." I said quickly, "I don't want you hurt."

"Y/N....."

"Don't get all mushy on me," I said softly, "Not right now, I mean, you can do it all you want when we get back," I added quickly, "But I agreed to this, Loki."

"To what?" He asked, bringing his face closer to mine.

"My part of the deal was to keep you safe. I told him I wanted to come so that I could protect you. I wouldn't even be here if you weren't."

His face softened, "Cupcake.....I don't need your protecting." He paused, "I can take care of myself, I assure you."

"I know." I said confidently, "But I couldn't let you go this alone."

His fingertips tugged at my chin, pulling my face up to his. Unable to hold myself back any longer, I threw my arms around his neck and yanked him down to me. Our lips crashed together. His arms went over my head, pulling my arms down because of his handcuffs. He pulled me tightly against him, kissing me almost desperately.

"I need you to." He whispered breathlessly between kisses, his voice hoarse.

As cold metal materialized around each of my wrists, I pulled away from him.

"This isn't the time for this." I gasped for air.

"I know." He pecked my lips again, then moved to my cheek, before placing a long, final kiss on my forehead.

Loki rested his forehead on mine for a moment before removing his hands from my hair and pulling his arms back over my head. I pulled my hands back to my body to see a metal cuff still on each of my hands.

"Go on." I said with a nervous chuckle, looking down at them, "Remove your magic."

I looked back up at him to see him shake his head and turn around.

"Loki?" I called to him, concerned.

Suddenly, the cuffs tightened, and a chain appeared on each, connected to the ship.

"Hey!" I looked back at where they were tethered and then back at Loki. A soft "That's not...This isn't fair." escaped my lips.

That's not fair? This isn't fair?! What are you, some sort of child?!

"All's fair," Loki smirked, "In Love and War."

"Loki!" I called after him, "Let me go!"

I watched as he continued on to the edge of the cliff.

"LOKI!"
