"I'm Y/N, Goddess of Music," I smiled.

I shook the Agent's hand.

"Agent Barton."

"Pleasure." I smiled, "How are you feeling?"

"Not too bad, but not too great either. You new to S.H.I.E.L.D.? I don't think I've seen you before."

"Yeah. Not exactly new to the field, though. I'm from space. Basically, I worked for an organization of weird monks that don't like getting attached to things. Or people."

"Sounds fun. What did you do?"

"Well, I'm a Jedi Master."

"Little self-explanatory then. How'd you end up here?"

"I broke away from the Order so I could go home to my childhood friends."

"Loki."

"He told you?"

"Yeah." Barton paused, "He told me about what happened. He gave me orders not to touch you if I saw you."

I smiled faintly, "Glad to know there's still a little bit of him in there."

"So after you fell in love with him, you broke away from the Jedi?" Natasha asked.

"Pretty much." I sighed, "But Loki and I.....Well, It's......Complicated."

"It didn't sound very complicated. The way he put it, anyway."

"He's blinded by his lust for power."

"Love blinds people too." Natasha set her hand on my arm. "People do crazy things when they're in love."

"Perhaps." I paused, "But this is different. This isn't him. He's being tortured somehow, controlled."

"The same way he got in my head and used me?"

I nodded, "I was under the spell too, by accident of course. I tried to put a protection spell on the scepter, to stop it from controlling anyone else." I paused, "The spell backfired, and I ended up under the control of the scepter."

"Did he..?"

"Take advantage of it? No, he didn't know. When I heard his thoughts and went down to his cell, He put loose ends together and quickly knocked me out. He didn't want me under the control of the scepter."

There was a long pause.

I stood and made for the door, "I'm gonna go. I'll be next door if you need me. I need to figure out when Loki plans to attack."

"Today." Barton said. "I'm sorry I can't be of much help as to what his plans are, but today. That's when he's gonna attack."

I turned back to him. "Thank you, Agent. A pleasure to know you're back on our side."

As I stepped in the doorway, I heard his voice again.

"It's Clint, actually."

I smiled, "Well then, Clint. It was nice to meet you."

I walked out the door and latched it behind me as I walked into the room I had woken up in earlier. Sitting down on the bed, I whipped my phone out, pulling up the first Spotify playlist on the list. It was a "Made for You" playlist entitled 'Daily Mix 1'. I hit play as I scrolled through the lineup.

Not bad.

I tapped the piano version of This is Gospel and put in my earbuds. The soft music of Brendon Urie's voice and piano filled my ears and I relaxed into the bed, lying down with my hands behind me head and my feet crossed.
