"Yes, Loki! Yes, Of course! I'd-Yes!" I smiled, tears of joy falling from my eyes. Loki stood and slipped the ring on my finger as I hugged him. I felt him sigh in relief, so I pulled away from him.

"What? You didn't think I'd say yes?" I laughed.

"No, I just didn't know if it was a "we're about to die" basis." He chuckled."And I know it's-we're moving fast, but I," He sighed, smiling, "I'm afraid I can't explain it. It's just......"

"When you know, you know." I hugged him again, before pulling away and kissing him more passionately than I ever had.

"Loki, you look distressed about something, What's wrong?" I asked him, concerned.

"Nothing, Darling, Nothing. I just, I need to ask my Father something." He reassured me.

"Then why are you still talking to me?" I laughed, "Go to him. I'll be in the library or in my chambers, when you finish. You'll know where to find me." I kissed him gently, before pushing him playfully away from me, "Go! I'll still be here when you get done!"

The tall raven-haired man pulled me back to him, kissing me again, before pulling away from me and going back towards the castle. I held onto his hand until he was far enough away that I had to let go. He turned and walked backwards, smiling at me like an idiot.

After he was far out of sight, I looked down at the gorgeous ring now resting on my finger. I never really thought about getting married when I was younger. I mean, I did once or twice, but I was thinking about how Jedi weren't supposed to marry. I held my hand out so the sun would catch it. As it did, the beams of light reflected onto the ground, casting beautiful green and white jeweled lines.

I put my hand down and began towards the castle. Frigga might still be in the library, so hopefully I'd be able to find her and tell her of what had happened. I broke into a run, unable to contain my excitement. As I walked into the library, I remembered how it was customary for a woman to wear her husband's colors. I immediately thought of the perfect dress I had found just earlier in my closet. It was a sexy, dark green with a slit up to my mid-thigh and off the shoulder sleeves. It was perfect, but I would wait a little while before wearing it.

Noticing Frigga standing between a set of shelves just next to a staircase. I walked over and calmly, but briskly ascended the small staircase. Frigga noticed me as I appeared at the top of the landing.

"Y/N, is something wrong? You're trembling." She asked me, concerned. I smiled at her, revealing how happy and excited I was.

"Frigga, I-I.....I don't know what to say. I'm just so happy and excited and nervous all at the same time, and I don't know what to do because of Thor's banishment," I rambled, "I just....."I sighed, "Look at this!" I held my hand up, unsheathing the beautiful ring.

She gasped, and she smiled ridiculously as she hugged me, "Y/N! That's splendid, Dear, truly it is! Oh, I'll have a daughter again!"

"Again...?" I asked her, still smiling.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Dear. I didn't mean that, It's just been so long since you were little and I got to spend the hours with you as if you were my own daughter. And now, I'll be able to see that same little girl get married. And with my son!"

I laughed, "So I assume I have your blessing? You are the closest thing I ever had to a mother."

Frigga hugged me again, "Yes, Y/N. Of course you have it."

I thanked her, but as I turned to make my way down the stairs, two guards came in, an urgent call for the Queen. She nodded to me, "Excuse me, Dear."

Despite my gut feeling, I discreetly followed after her. I peered out from around the corner to see a large golden doorway, with a guard on either side of it, and a line of guards in the hall. The two guards walked the Queen to the doorway, and Loki stepped out of it.

He looked as though something had shattered him completely, he had tearstains on his cheeks and his eyes were brimmed with tears. He said something to her, and she quickly followed him inside. I stayed at my position for a moment, before Loki came back out of the doorway. He turned my way and walked slowly down the hall. I turned and quietly bolted through the halls to my room.

I shut the door behind me, changed into a light dress, picked up a random book, and went out to the balcony to "read" for a minute. I didn't put shoes back on though, that seemed like a lot of work.

As I opened the book, and no sooner than I did, I heard the door open
