Chapter 13

{Chris's POV} 

I was woken up by Gaia tossing and turning in bed I rolled over she looked like she was having a horrible nightmare I sat up in bed and gently shook her. 

"Gaia sweetheart wake up." 

Gaia woke up she threw her arms around my neck and cried I wrapped my arms around her and held her close I gently rubbed Gaia's back. 

"Babe I had the most horrible nightmare." Gaia sobbed. 

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked. 

"In my dream I had just given birth to a baby girl and you said you didn't want to be a father anymore and left me." 

"I would never do that too you I love you very much." 

Gaia pulled back in my arms I wiped away her tears and kissed her we laid back down in bed she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around Gaia she laid her head on my chest I kissed her forehead we went back to sleep. When I woke back up Gaia was still snuggled up beside me with her head on my chest, I kissed her forehead she was starting to stir Gaia woke up and kissed me. 

"Morning babe." Gaia said. 

"Morning baby," I replied. 

I saw mine and Gaia's bedroom door open Ronnie came into the room and climbed up on the bed she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her. 

"Daddy, I love you."

"I love you too, Ronnie. Are you hungry?"

"Yes," Ronnie said. 

"Meet me downstairs and we'll have breakfast." I replied. 

Ronnie climbed off the bed and left the bedroom Gaia and I got up out of bed we left our room and walked downstairs Gaia and I walked into the kitchen. 

"Ronnie what would you like for breakfast?" 

"Cereal please," 

I picked Ronnie up and placed her in her high chair I made a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and placed it in front of her Gaia and I made ourselves a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table. After breakfast I walked upstairs, I walked into Ronnie's room she was sitting on her bed I sat on the bed beside her I picked Ronnie up and sat her on my lap. 

"Veronica what's the matter?" I asked. 

"Nothing," Ronnie replied. 

"Are you still angry at me from yesterday?" 

Ronnie climbed off my lap I got up off her bed and left her room I walked up the hall to mine and Gaia's room and got dressed I put on an Eighteen Visions t-shirt, black jeans, and Vans, I walked into the bathroom when I came out of the bathroom, I made the bed. I sat down on my mine and Gaia's bed and laid back across the bed Gaia came into the room she walked over to the bed and climbed on top of me she leaned down and kissed me. 

"What's the matter?" Gaia asked. 

"Our daughter hates me." I said. 

"Babe she's two Ronnie doesn't hate anyone. Did you ask her what was wrong?" 

"I asked her if she's still angry at me from yesterday and I got no answer." 

"I'll talk to Ronnie," She replied. 

I kissed Gaia she climbed off me I sat up on the bed and left the bedroom I walked downstairs I walked down the hall to my office I opened the door and walked inside my office I sat down on the black leather couch and played guitar. Ronnie and Gaia came into my office I stopped playing guitar and put it back Ronnie walked over to me I picked her up and sat her on my lap Gaia sat beside me on the couch.  

"Ronnie is there something you would like to say to your father?" 

"I don't hate you daddy. Can you please spend the day with me?" 

"I'll spend the day with you sweetheart." I said. 

"Thank you, daddy." Ronnie replied. 

Ronnie climbed off my lap and left my office I followed her upstairs to her room we sat down on the carpet and spent the day playing with her toys. Later on, that night Gaia and I were snuggling in bed together after tucking Ronnie into bed I reached over and turned off the lamp we fell asleep.
