Chapter 15

{Gaia's POV} 

I went to snuggle up next to Chris his side of the bed was empty I woke up and glanced at the alarm clock the blood red numbers on the clock read four thirty in the morning I heard the bathroom door open and saw Chris come out of the bathroom. 

"Baby what are you doing up?" Chris asked climbing back into bed. 

"I went to snuggle up beside you and your side of the bed was empty." I said stifling a yawn. 

I snuggled up beside Chris he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest and draped my arm across him I smiled contently and fell back to sleep. When I woke up, I was snuggled up behind Chris with my arm draped across him he was starting to stir he rolled over facing me. 

"Morning beautiful."

"Morning handsome,"

I kissed Chris, he gently pulled me closer to him I heard the bedroom door open I looked over at the door Ronnie came into the room and climbed up on the bed Chris rolled over onto his back and wrapped his arm around Ronnie she snuggled up beside him. 

"Ronnie are you ready for breakfast?" I asked. 

"Yes," Ronnie said. 

"Meet your father and I in the kitchen and we'll have breakfast." 

Ronnie climbed off the bed and left the room I gave Chris a kiss and climbed out of bed I left the bedroom I walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen. 

"Mommy do we have pancakes?" She asked. 

"There's frozen pancakes in the freezer and there's also pancake mix which one would you like?" I said. 

"Can you please make pancakes?" 

I grabbed a mixing bowl and the pancake mix out of the cupboard I let Ronnie help me mix the batter I poured the batter into a big measuring cup and poured the batter into a sauté pan I finished making breakfast. 

"Mommy is daddy coming down for breakfast?" Ronnie asked. 

"He'll be down soon I promise your father isn't really a morning person." I replied with a smile while setting the table.

A few minutes later Chris came into the kitchen I turned on the coffee pot I helped Ronnie down from the counter and handed her a cup of apple juice. After breakfast I helped Ronnie get dressed, I brushed her hair and pulled it up in a pony tail I followed Ronnie into the bathroom and helped her brush her teeth when we came out of the bathroom. I made Ronnie's bed and left the room I walked up the hall to mine and Chris's room I walked into the room and got dressed I put on a Muse t-shirt, yoga pants, and black Vans; I brushed my hair and pulled it up into a pony tail I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom, I made the bed Chris came into the room he walked over to me and kissed me I looked at him and smiled he wrapped his arms around my waist. 

"What are you up too?" 

"I'm not up to anything." 

"Mommy," Ronnie called. 

"I'll be there in a minute." I stated. 

I broke out of Chris's embrace and left the bedroom I walked down the hall and walked into Ronnie's room she was sitting on the carpet playing with her Monster High, DC Super Hero Girls and Forever After High dolls I joined her on the carpet. 

"What's the matter?" 

"I don't have anyone to play with." 

"I'll play with you sweetheart." I replied.
