Chapter 16

{Chris's POV}

It was the day of Ronnie's birthday party Gaia and I were finishing decorating the kitchen for the party Gaia walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist I looked at her and smiled. 

"I can't believe Ronnie turns three years old today I feel like I should have been there for her from the moment she was born." 

"Christopher, you can't keep beating yourself up about that you had no idea that your ex-girlfriend was pregnant after you too broke up Ronnie still loves you no matter what." 

"I see your point." I said. 

When Gaia and I were finished decorating for the party we left the kitchen and walked into the living room we sat down on the couch and watched TV, Gaia was playing on her phone. 

"Babe your mom is on her way over with the birthday girl." 

"Do you think Ronnie will like the Monster High theme birthday party?" 

"Ronnie will love it." She said.  

Gaia snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her forehead she gazed up at me and smiled I smiled back. 

"Babe." 

"Hmm?" 

"Do you think it's to over the top?" Gaia asked. 

"No." I replied.

My mom was knocking at the door I got up off the couch and left the living room I answered the door my mom and Ronnie came into the house I closed the inside door and locked it. I knelt down and unzipped Ronnie's jacket she took off her jacket she handed it to me I hung up Ronnie's jacket and picked her up. 

"Happy birthday princess." 

"Thank you, daddy." 

I carried Ronnie into the living room I walked over to the couch and handed Ronnie to Gaia she sat Ronnie on her lap. 

"Mommy I have to go to the bathroom. Ronnie said. 

"I'll take you to the bathroom. 

Gaia got up off the couch and placed Ronnie on her hip she left the living room my mom came into the living room she sat down in the recliner. 

"Christopher, do you mind helping me bringing in Ronnie's gifts?" my mom asked. 

"I don't mind helping you bring in Ronnie's presents." I replied. 

My mom and I left the house I followed her to her car my mom unlocked and opened the trunk I looked at my mom and shook my head. 

"I'm spoiling my granddaughter don't worry Nick and Samantha are going to spoil Ronnie and so is your father." 

I helped my mom bring the birthday gifts inside the house we walked into the living room and sat them on the carpet with the rest of the gifts I heard Gaia and Ronnie coming downstairs they came into the living room. Ronnie walked over to me I picked her up and placed her on my hip and kissed her cheek Ronnie looked at me and smiled I smiled back. Someone was knocking at the door I walked over to the door and answered it Ricky, Jamie, Ryan, Vinny, Kylie, Ghost, Nick, Samantha, Ryan Ashley, Balz, and my dad came into the house I put Ronnie down she headed for the living room.

"Chris, Ronnie looks so much like you." Nick said. 

"I know she does Ronnie doesn't look anything like my ex-girlfriend." I replied. 

I walked into the living room Ronnie walked over to me she wanted to be held I picked her up and place her on my hip she laid her head on my shoulder. Gaia and I gathered in the kitchen with our friends and family I lit the birthday candles everyone sang Happy Birthday to Ronnie she blew out her candles. After everyone had cake Gaia and I helped Ronnie open her gifts she got clothes and dolls of Monster High and Forever After High when Ronnie was finished opening her gifts, she thanked everyone for her gifts. Later on, that night Ronnie, Gaia, and I were sitting on the couch in the living room watching TV, Ronnie climbed onto my lap and kissed my cheek I kissed her forehead. 

"Thank you for my party daddy." 

"You're more than welcome sweetheart." 

"Ronnie are you ready for bed?" Gaia asked.

"Yes mommy." Ronnie yawned. 

I got up off the couch I placed Ronnie on my hip and left the living room I walked upstairs to her room I walked into the room I laid Ronnie down in her bed and tucked her in I turned off the lamp and left the room. I saw Gaia coming up the stairs and followed her to our room we climbed into bed I reached over and turned off the lamp I snuggled up behind Gaia and draped my arm across her and went to sleep. 

{I know that Ghost and Balz are no longer in the band I still want to include them in the story. Don't forget to vote and comment}
