Chapter 33

{Ronnie's POV} 

When I woke up, I climbed out of bed I opened my bedroom door and left the room I walked up the hall and walked into my dad's room. I climbed up onto the bed he was still asleep. 

"Daddy wake up." I said gently nudging his arm.

"I'm a vampire I only wake up at night." my dad teased. 

"No, you're not," 

I climbed on my dad and laid my head on his chest he kissed my head. 

"I could be." He chuckled, tickling me. 

"If you're a vampire you'd still be my daddy." I giggled. 

I crawled off my dad and sat beside him, he sat up in bed and turned on the TV we were watching the Disney Channel. 

"What do you think of Shelly?" 

"I really like Shelly, she's nice." 

"Shelly and I were talking last night after I tucked you into bed Shelly would like you to join us on dates because she wants to get to know you better. Shelly also doesn't want you to feel left out when we go on dates." my dad said. 

"Are you fine with me tagging along?" I asked. 

"Yes, I'm fine with you going out with Shelly and me." He replied. 

I climbed off the bed and left the room I walked back down the hall to my room I got out my own clothes my dad came into my room. 

"Would you like me to help you get dressed?" 

"I want to try to dress myself." 

I got dressed by myself my dad brushed my hair and pulled my hair up into a pony tail I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom my dad was making the bed. I left my room I walked downstairs I walked into the living room Salem and Precious were sleeping on the couch I heard my dad walking down the stairs he came into the living room talking on the phone. 

"Ronnie, Shelly would like to know if you would like to spend the day with her?" my dad asked. 

"Yes please," I said. 

I sat on the carpet and played with my baby dolls when my dad got off the phone, he joined me on the carpet and played with me. A few minutes later Shelly was knocking at the door my dad climbed to his feet and left the living room he came back into the living room with Shelly. 

"Hi. Ronnie." 

"Hi. Shelly," 

I climbed to my feet and walked over to Shelly and my dad we left the living room my dad grabbed my sweat jacket and handed it to me I put on my sweat jacket and zipped it. He knelt down to my level and hugged me I hugged him back. 

"Have fun with Shelly and behave." my dad said. 

"I will I promise." I smiled. 

I kissed my dad's cheek and left the house with Shelly, she opened the backseat door and helped me into the backseat Shelly buckled me into the car seat. Shelly closed the door and climbed behind the wheel she started the engine and drove away. 

"Where would you like to go?" 

"Hot Topic please." 

"A girl after my own heart I love Hot Topic too." Shelly said. 

"It's my favorite place as well as the Disney store." I smiled. 

When we arrived at the mall Shelly parked the car and killed the engine she climbed out of the car and opened the backseat door. She unbuckled me from the car seat and helped me out of the backseat I held Shelly's hand as we walked inside the mall. 

"Which store would you like to visit first?" 

"Hot Topic please." 

We walked into Hot Topic, Shelly and I were looking at the band tees she found me a few t-shirts with my dad's band on it. 

"I don't think my dad will let you buy me anything." I said. 

"I'm treating you to a girl's day out." Shelly smiled. 

I found a blanket and t-shirt with The Nightmare Before Christmas, I handed the blanket and t-shirt to Shelly. We walked to checkout line after Shelly paid for my items, we left Hot Topic and entered the Disney Store. 

"Can you help me find things of my favorite princess?" 

"Sure. Who's your favorite princess?" 

"I like Belle," I replied. 

Shelly and I walked around the store she found me t-shirts, a doll, and play set with Belle, she also found me a few items of The Nightmare Before Christmas. We walked to the checkout line Shelly paid for my items and left the Disney Store. 

"Thank you for taking me out for the day and for wanting to include me on dates." 

"You're more than welcome sweetie I have one more surprise for you before we head home." 

"Where are we going?" I asked. 

"I'm going to take you to get your nails painted." She smiled. 

Shelly and I went to the nail salon we each got our nails painted black after we left the nail salon Shelly and I left the mall and walked back to the car. She opened the backseat door I climbed into the car seat Shelly buckled me in and sat the shopping bags on the floor she closed the door and climbed behind the wheel. Shelly started the engine she backed out of the parking space and drove out of the lot when we arrived at my dad's house she parked in front of the house and killed the engine. Shelly climbed out of the car and opened the backseat door she unbuckled me from the car seat I climbed out of the backseat and waited for Shelly, she closed the backseat door we walked up to the house I opened the storm door and knocked on the front door. 

"How was your girl's day out?" 

"Shelly and I had a lot of fun I can't wait to do it again." 

Shelly and I walked inside the house I unzipped my sweat jacket and took it off I handed it to my dad he hung it up Shelly hung up her jacket. Shelly headed into the living room my dad picked me up and placed me on his hip I showed him my finger nails. 

"How did I not know that you would get your nails painted black." my dad teased. 

"Black is my favorite color. Can Shelly stay for dinner?" I asked. 

"Of course," 

My dad put me down we walked into the living room Shelly showed my dad what she bought me at Hot Topic and the Disney Store. Later on, that night my dad, Shelly, and I were sitting on the couch watching TV, I crawled onto Shelly's lap and laid my head on her chest I drifted off to sleep.
