Chapter 47

{Ronnie's POV} 

Maya and I were sitting at the table eating our pancakes when uncle Mike came into the kitchen, he joined us at the table. 

"Morning girls." 

"Morning daddy." 

"Morning uncle Mike." I said, taking a drink of my apple cider. 

"Did you enjoy staying the night with us?" uncle Mike asked. 

"Yeah, I had fun with you, aunt Hilary, and Maya." 

"I'll ask your parents when they come to get you if Friday after school if Maya could spend the night at your house." 

After breakfast Maya and I walked back upstairs to her room and got dressed aunt Hilary came into the room she brushed mine and Maya's hair and pulled our hair up into a pony tail. Maya and I walked into the bathroom when we came out of the bathroom I put on my Converse, aunt Samantha tied my shoes for me. Maya and I left her room and walked downstairs we entered the living room and walked over to the couch Maya and I sat on the couch and watched Disney Junior. 

"What do you think of your new mom?" Maya asked. 

"I love having Shelly around she's the best and Shelly makes my dad really happy." I smiled. 

Uncle Mike and aunt Hilary came into the living room they joined Maya and I on the couch they watched Disney Junior with us. Later on, that morning someone was knocking at the door uncle Mike left the living room he came back into the living room with my parents. I got up off the couch and walked over to my parents my mom picked me up and placed me on her hip I hugged my mom. 

"Ronnie did you have fun with uncle Mike and aunt Hilary?" 

"Yes," 

My mom put me down uncle Mike handed me my sweat jacket I put on my sweat jacket he handed my dad my overnight bag. Uncle Mike knelt down to my level I gave him a hug aunt Hilary walked over to me and knelt down I hugged my aunt she returned my hug Maya looked sad. 

"Maya what's the matter?" I asked. 

"I don't want you to go home." Maya pouted. 

"Maya after school Friday you can spend the week-end with Ronnie." 

Maya got up off the couch and walked over to me she hugged me I returned her hug. I left the house with my parents we walked down to my mom's car my dad opened the door to the backseat I climbed into the backseat and sat in my car seat my dad buckled me in and sat my overnight bag on the floor. My dad closed the door and climbed into the passenger seat my mom climbed behind the wheel and drove away. When we arrived home my mom parked the car in front of the house and killed the engine she and my dad climbed out of the car. My dad opened the door to the backseat he unbuckled me from my car seat I climbed out of the backseat. My mom and I walked up to the house she opened the storm door and unlocked the front door and opened it we walked inside the house I unzipped my sweat jacket and handed it to my mom. I headed upstairs to my room I walked into my room I sat down on the carpet and removed my sneakers I played with my toys. 

"Mind if I join you?" my dad asked, entering the room. 

"I don't mind." I smiled. 

My dad joined me on the carpet and played with me I climbed onto his lap and hugged him my dad returned my hug I kissed his cheek. 

"Daddy will we always be close?" 

"I believe that we will always be close and I'm okay with that." 

My dad and I played with my dolls I changed the outfit on my Monster High doll. 

"Are you excited about having your first sleepover with Maya on Friday?" He asked. 

"I'm looking forward to Maya staying the night on Friday." I replied. 

I spent the day playing with my Monster High, Forever After High, and DC Super Hero Girls dolls with my dad. Later on, that night my parents tucked me into bed my mom handed me my Jack and Sally dolls my parents kissed my forehead. 

"Night, night Ronnie sweet dreams." 

"Night, night mommy and daddy." 

My dad turned off the lamp and left the room my mom went to leave I reached out and grabbed her hand. 

"What's the matter?" my mom asked worried, turning on my lamp and sitting down on my bed. 

"I wish my dad would marry you." I blurted. 

"Your dad and I haven't really talked about our future together I will talk to your dad about it I promise." my mom vowed. 

My mom got up off my bed she leaned down and kissed my forehead my mom turned off the lamp and left my room closing the door softly behind her. I snuggled with my Jack and Sally dolls and drifted off to sleep.
