My dad the rockstar

Chapter 41

{Ronnie's POV} 

The next morning when I woke up, I climbed out of bed and opened my bedroom door I left my room and walked up the hall I opened my parents' bedroom door and peeked into their room they were still asleep. I walked over to my dad's side of the bed and gently shook him my dad woke up. 

"Ronnie what's the matter?" 

"I'm hungry." 

"Sweetheart it's only six in the morning go back to sleep." my dad said half asleep. 

"Can I climb in bed with you and mommy?" I asked. 

My dad lifted up the blankets I crawled into bed with my parents I climbed on my dad I laid my head on his chest and fell back to sleep. When I woke back up, I was alone in my parent's bed I climbed out of their bed and left the room I walked downstairs. 

"Mommy, daddy!!" 

"In my office." 

I ran down the hall and walked into my dad's office he was sitting at his desk I walked over to my dad he picked me up and sat me on his lap I hugged my dad. 

"When I woke up, I was alone in yours and mommy's room and when I came downstairs, I didn't hear you or mommy I thought you two went out and left me home alone." I said. 

"Your mom and I would never do that too you besides you're not old enough to be left home alone. Your mom went to run errands and I'm printing out the forms so Shelly can legally adopt you." my dad replied. 

I noticed my dad's screen saver on his desktop is a picture of me and him from my third birthday party. 

"I like your screen saver," 

"I like it too." 

"Let's take you upstairs to get dressed and I'll make you some breakfast." my dad said. 

I climbed off my dad's lap and left his office I walked upstairs and entered my bedroom I heard my dad walking up the stairs he came into the room. My dad got out my clothes I got dressed he brushed my hair and pulled my hair up into a pony tail I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom my dad was making my bed, I left the room and walked downstairs I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table my dad came into the kitchen. 

"What would you like for breakfast?" 

"Waffles please." 

My dad made waffles for the both of us when breakfast was ready, he sat our plates on the table. 

"What would you like to drink?" He asked. 

"Apple juice please." I said. 

My dad poured apple juice into my Vampirina cup and placed it on the table he joined me at the table we ate breakfast together. After breakfast I was sitting on the couch watching Craig of the Creek on Cartoon Network, I heard the front door open I left the living room my mom came into the house carrying grocery bags.

"Ronnie where's your dad?" my mom asked. 

"He's in the kitchen cleaning up from breakfast." I said. 

My dad came out of the kitchen and helped my mom, I walked back into the living room and finished watching my show. A few minutes later my mom and dad came into the living room and joined me on the couch. 

"Ronnie what would you like to dress as for Halloween?" 

"I would like to dress like daddy." 

"I'll help you dress like me for Halloween." my dad smiled. 

I crawled onto my dad's lap and laid my head on his chest he was playing with my pony tail. 

"Daddy does that mean I can wear make-up like you do when you're on tour?" 

"Yes, I'll do your make-up like I do when I'm performing." 

"Ronnie, I have a black wig that you can wear as well." my mom said. 

"Mommy are you okay with me dressing like daddy for Halloween?" 

"I don't have a problem with it," 

Salem and Precious came into the living room they jumped up onto the couch and laid down beside my dad I petted Salem and Precious. My mom and dad let me help decorate the downstairs for Halloween. 

"Can't we leave up the Halloween decorations all year round?" I asked, helping my mom put up the window clings on the front window. 

"You defiantly are your father's daughter." my mom chuckled, putting up the last of the window clings. 

"Ronnie, would you like this in your room?" 

"What is it?" 

"It's a Nightmare Before Christmas tabletop tree figurine." my dad said. 

"Yes please." I smiled. 

My dad and I walked upstairs to my room to find a place for the figurine he placed it on my dresser we walked back downstairs. My dad and I walked back into the living room I sat on the carpet and played with Salem and Precious. Later on, that afternoon I was upstairs in my room playing with my toys my mom came into the room and joined me on the floor. 

"Mind if I join you?" 

"I don't mind." 

"I signed the paperwork to legally adopt you." my mom said. 

"Thank you for wanting to adopt me I hope I don't drive you away like I did with my dad's ex-girlfriend." I replied, changing the outfit on my Monster High doll. 

"Your dad told me about his ex-girlfriend sweetie you didn't make her leave your dad told me everything that happened. I promise I will try my best to be a good mother towards you." 

"You already are a great mom towards me you make me feel like you want me around I never told my dad this but when his ex-girlfriend lived here, I felt like she didn't want me around I never said anything to my dad because I didn't want to come between them." 

My mom and I sat on my bedroom floor and played with my Monster High and Forever After High dolls. Later on that night my dad was sitting on my bed reading me a bedtime story he was reading me Beauty and The Beast when my dad was finished reading to me, he got up from my bed and placed the book back on my bookshelf. 

"Ronnie, I overheard you and your mom talking earlier when she was playing with you and I was wondering if you really felt like Gaia didn't want you around?" my dad asked. 

"It was the vibe I would get from her sometimes I don't know I'm just a little kid that's broken I was afraid to tell you how I felt because I didn't want to come between you two because I knew how much you loved her." I said in a wobbly voice. 

My dad walked over to my bed and picked me up I laid my head on his shoulder and wrapped my little arms around his neck and cried. 

"Sweetheart, you're not broken your birth mom never gave you the proper love and care but I love you very much there's nothing that I wouldn't do for you. I love having you around I don't know if you know this but you're my pride and joy." 

"Can I sleep with you and mommy?" 

My dad grabbed my Jack and Sally dolls he turned off my lamp and left my room he carried me up the hall to his and my mom's room. My dad carried me over to the bed and laid me down in the middle he climbed into bed my mom wiped away my tears my dad turned off the lamp my parents comforted me until I drifted off to sleep.
